I would think they would at least look into it. Thats not a bad idea, he would make a decent 5 guy in the rotation.

Lloyd found himself a pretty good gig...Tigers hitting coach Lloyd McClendon will be named the Seattle Mariners' new manager, a source close to subject told the Pudget Sound Business Journal on Tuesday.
have fun over there Lloyd, that team is so poorly put together. bunch of power hitting guys in a pitchers park. next to Petco park that may be the worst hitter parks in the league for power hitters. that wont go well. oh by the way LLoyd your best hitter is Kendrys Morales who has pouted since leaving Anaheim, he batted a whole .277 and had a whopping 23 homers and 80 RBI's. but its not all bad you have a team that batted .237(one of the worst in the league). you also have over the hill Ibanez who batted like .230, retread and also past his prime Endy Chavez and one of the worst contratcs in the league with Jason Bay - hes the Wade Redden of MLB, colossal joke and one wasted at bat after another(sounds like fatty)
Now, this does not make me happy. Im a Brookens fan and hope they can find a place for him on the team somewhere, doing something. Not taking out the trash or anything like that, but maybe the first-base coach.
I dont like it either and who the hell is Dave Clark anyways. Brookens is one of the most respected Tigers too, bad move Brad
