Well, AJ had a good game. Maybe batting 8th took off some pressure. The new look Tigers offense woke up and beat the Red Sox 7-3. ALCS is now even at 2 games. Hunter came up huge in the lead-off spot. Mister Fister looked pretty good too, a great game all around.
Its raining...but looking promising for a baseball game tonight. Radar's are starting to show some favorable non-activity. I do hope it rains baseballs off of Tigers bats, though.

Thanks no mobile game chat, wasn't able to chat last night w u guys. What an effin great game. Thanks for that Will. Why change anything, if its not broke don't fix it. I trust Leyland. GO TIGERS!!! ....for the record Lester is the only guy in really fear out of that rotation
Also hats off to AJ. Got demoted and never whines or bitched, he just went out and had his best game. That's why I like him so much. AJ>>>>>>>>Granderson
It wasn't a comparison of attitudes(although Curtis wanted out of Detroit), instead the player overall in a trade many didn't like. I'll take AJ over him every time
Tigers have their backs against the wall now. Atleast we have Scherzer and Verlander ready to go. Fielder boo'ed at home? He needs to step up in a big way.
this was me last night I actually dont care for Family Guy but this was par for the course for me last night. maybe its a good thing I couldnt get in the chat rooms because no one wouldve wanted to hear me last night. the wife had to tell me to stop swearing, it was bad
Congrats to the Cardinals. Winners of the NL and World Series bound again. They won their game against the Dodgers in a blow-out, 9-0. I sure hope I can say the same for the Tigers in a few games...all they need to do is take 2 in a row in Boston, and with Scherzer and Verlander, it can be done.
I effing demand Prince be dropped in the order - if not benched. hes wasted enough at bats. Id rather see Pena or even Dirks in there who atleast will give 100%. very curious to see your lineup card tonight Will.
i can't argue with this, cutter. i have tried to be patient with the guy, but ffs, do SOMETHING before the season is over.
Since Prince has proven to be an automatic out, I think moving him down to 5th or 6th might be a well made move. Hell, Leyland ran out of patience on Jackson for just the same stuff, and look what that move did. Im curious to see the lineups too. Backs against the wall, should bring out the best of all the Tigers. No pressure.
Here are the do or die Lineups for game 6: 1. Torii Hunter (R) RF 2. Miguel Cabrera (R) 3B 3. Prince Fielder (L) 1B 4. Victor Martinez (S) DH Scherzer 5. Jhonny Peralta (R) LF 6. Alex Avila (L) C 7. Omar Infante (R) 2B 8. Austin Jackson (R) CF 9. Jose Iglesias (R) SS 1. Jacoby Ellsbury (L) CF 2. Shane Victorino (S) RF 3. Dustin Pedroia (R) 2B 4. David Ortiz (L) DH Buckholz 5. Mike Napoli (R) 1B 6. Jarrod Saltalamacchia (S) C 7. Jonny Gomes (R) LF 8. Stephen Drew (L) SS 9. Xander Bogaerts (R) 3B[/*] Go Tigers!
Well, what can I say. They made a good run and gave us a great baseball season, but man, it sure hurts to see it end like it did. Boston did what they had to do and the Tigers had no answer for them. Watching Cabrera was sure alot of fun, just would have liked him being healthy. Man, that guy can hit even when he's banged up. Hope the Tigers find a way to keep Scherzer and the staff together, and address the bullpen issues. Should continue to be an interesting off-season for Tigers fans. Anyway...thank you Tigers. Thanks to everyone who contributed and stopped by to read this thread...it was a lot of fun. If some of you find it of interest, I will continue to post Tigers off-season news. I have the feeling they will be busy, again.
Hats off to the Sox, they beat the best staff in baseball. Bucholz and Lster were the only two pitchers I really had any concern facing. Prince with another solid O fer, hes such a joke. and what really sucks is he already floating in the 2nd year of a deal that goes for another 7 and no one I REPEAT NO ONE will take that contract so were stuck with his fat ass. 23 million couldve got you so much more in return. Its not just his fault but for that kind of money he was supposed to atleast provide some pop and maybe win some games on his own. Yes Will I enjoyed this all year and would like you to keep it up. offseason should be interesting, whats gonna happen with Scherzer and will Hunter return. we need more lefties especially one in the rotation and what happens to Peralta? lots of questions, cant ask more of Mr I, hes opened his pocketbook and done his part. again nice job all year Will and look forward to what should be a busy offseason
