It might land up on S-n-I , again. There's a Red Wings game tonight, so we will all probably be there to begin with. Wings at 7:30, and Tigers a little after 9, tonight. Should be a fun night.
Leyland, still working on the lineups, has to decide wether Peralta is playing in left or starting at short. I would start him at short, so another stronger bat such as Dirks could be in the lineup. I think with JV pitching, the Tigers should try to load up offensively the best they possibly can. What do you guy's think?
Those are some unbelievable stats. There's nobody Ide rather have go in a big game like tonights, than JV. This is going to be fun to see.
Does that sound good, or what? Those Tigers are pretty good at baseball. Thanks to Justin Verlander, Cabrera, hell, the whole team, the Tigers are moving on. Game 1 of the ALCS is set for Saturday night against Boston. Should be more nerve damaging fun. Anibal Sanchez is scheduled to pitch the first game.
Thanks fish. Going to be a whole lotta fun with Boston. Is Verlander nuts, or what? He hasnt given up a run, since I dont know when. He can sure turn it up and tune it up when it really counts. Great game and series win last night.
Will I got the other fantasy league up n running. Created a new acct on CBS. The details are on the ditch thread. Hope to see you there
Ill take Sanchez all day long, Tigs always have trouble with Lester and Bucholz but we are so overdue for an offensive explosion. way too much power here. gonna have to check the game time temp, that could be the biggest factor of all. Windy favors the the pitchers for the most part and cold favors the hitters. there is nothing worse than pitching in the cold, ball runs flat and your grip tends to tighten which leads to loss of control. It will get in your head too. you abondon your gameplan and just try throwing gas because your tight and fingers are cold. that usually never goes in the pitchers favor
Got it...game time forcast - temp to be at 53*, mostly cloudy and 0% cance of any precipitation. Although I have heard reports of baseballs falling from the sky, deep over the Green Monster, off Tigers bats. Go Tigers!
