Way to go boys. Just how it was scripted. 2 more. Man if Scherzer doesn't deserve the Cy no one does. His slider is awesome. He always had the abity and the stuff but until the last couple years he never had the control he does now. He paints the corners and gets his off speed stuff over to keep the hitters guessing. What a year he's had. How good is our staff when JV is your #3 starter. 2 more boy. GO TIGERS!!
Just seen your post will. I heard Sanchez was 2 on sports radio - should a known that was wrong. Those guys are clowns. That top 3 is sick
no I heard it on 97.1. Valenti and Foster are about the only show I like anymore. Valenti makes me laugh and hes usually dead on with his opinions but its still talk show crap so big grain of salt is digested daily
Game #2 Starting ALDS Lineups: First pitch 9:07pm. 1. Austin Jackson (R) CF 2. Torii Hunter (R) RF 3. Miguel Cabrera (R) 3B 4. Prince Fielder (L) 1B Verlander 5. Victor Martinez (S) DH 6. Alex Avila (L) C 7. Omar Infante (R) 2B 8. Don Kelly (L) LF 9. Jose Iglesias (R) SS 1. Coco Crisp (S) CF 2. Jed Lowrie (S) SS 3. Josh Donaldson (R) 3B 4. Brandon Moss (L) 1B Gray 5. Yoenis Cespedes (R) LF 6. Seth Smith (L) DH 7. Josh Reddick (L) RF 8. Stephen Vogt (L) C 9. Eric Sogard (L) 2B[/*] Lets Go Tigers! A win tonight would be fantastic. Definetly put the A's in an almost insurmountable hole. Bring the good stuff, no bring the great stuff, JV. Kelly is in the lineup tonight. Oakland is going to pay now!
Tight game. Pitching the difference so far. Donaldson just broke through with a hit against JV...the tough luck JV. Verlander retired the first 11 batters, 6 by strikeout, untill Donaldson' base hit. As Im typing, JV ends the inning with his 8th K. Get this guy some runs, please.
Well, a 1-0 loss to even the series at 1 game a piece. Sure is frustrating to see JV pitch his brains out, and get zero run support. Tigers bats better get busy. Going to Detroit to resume the series, tied at 1 isnt all that bad. Tigers played great at home and I expect more of the same. I dont think Oaklands pitching staff is as deep as Detroits, so, the Tigers hitting should start getting to them...it better.
that effing blew yesterday!! Aj needs to get his head out of his arse, one wasted at bat after another. he has a no 2 hitter mentality too often and he cant. I like him a lot and want him to do well but when he doesnt set the table it makes things that much more difficult for everyone. Prince pulling another postseason vanishing act, he was awful last year. what a wasted start for JV, he couldnt have done more than he did last night. made Sonny Gray look like Dwight Gooden
Yep. He's not getting it done. When and if he can get on base , he gives the pitcher a whole lot more to think about. It worked all season, now he's, like you said, not getting it done. Agreed here too. Maybe when they get back to Comerica park things start to pick up as far as the hitting goes. Way too many K's by Tigers also. I get the feeling their pressing too much and just not relaxed. Someone with a big base hit or a HR at the right time, might open the flood gates. Right now, the Tigers couldnt buy a run. Droutsville USA lately. Cabrera isnt healthy, wich doesnt help the cause, but they gotta find some help and production from somebody. Still not a bad situation going back to Detroit tied at 1 game each. Im looking for better things in MoTown.
I like the move. This team needs to get something going offensively and Peralta's bat towards the bottom of the lineup should help, I think, I hope. Just hope nobody hits line drives to left, unless there right at him. ...sorry Jhonny.
Sure...I might need it. Im not sure if the game will be for free on MLB.com. Much appreciated. Thanks.
Game #3 ALDS Starting Lineups: 1. Coco Crisp (S) CF 2. Josh Donaldson (R) 3B 3. Jed Lowrie (S) SS 4. Brandon Moss (L) 1B Parker 5. Yoenis Cespedes (R) LF 6. Seth Smith (L) DH 7. Jhonny Peralta (R) LF 7. Alex Avila (L) C 8. Omar Infante (R) 2B 9. Jose Iglesias (R) SS[/*] I almost forgot the lineups, again, till I just became curious where JP was going to bat. Welcome back Peralta! Home sweet home...time for the bats to come alive. Cutter, with work and all, I hope you get a chance to see some of the game. Go Tigers!
