Detroit didn't play and they are in 2nd place in the AL Central. Got to take our victories where we can.

After three consecutive doubles, the Tigers lead 2-0 in the bottom of the 2nd inning. Detroit is off to a good start.

 

Hitting machine so far and Zimm is in a groove... very nice start.

 

But it changes quickly...

 

Pirates add another run and now lead the Tigers 4-2 in the top of the 6th inning.

 

Tigers retake the lead 6-4 in the bottom of the 7th inning. Tigers still batting with 1 out.

 

Pirates get 2 runs in the top of the 8th inning and the game is tied at 6-6.

 

Pirates get a run in the top of the 9th inning to retake the lead 7-6. Still no outs in the top of the 9th.

 

Pirates add another run for an 8-6 lead with two outs in the top of the 9th inning.

 

Pirates add 2 more runs to lead 10-6 and still batting.

 

Its not looking good.

Tigers and Pirates seem to want to take their time changing their 0-0 records.

 

The Tigers appear to score the winning run in the bottom of the 10th inning only to have instant (5 minute variety) replay take it away.

 

Pirates score 3 in the top of the 13th inning and now lead 13-10.
