Tigers down 1-0 to the Mets in the bottom of the 7th inning. Time to RALLY boys! Good news that Cleveland is losing as well 3-0 to the Yankees after 6 innings.
Mets down the Tigers by a final score of 3-1. On the bright side, Anibal Sanchez pitched well enough to get the win. Maybe he is getting his groove back.

Bullpen struggles cost Tigers again as they're swept in Seattle SEATTLE -- Billed as a duel between two of the best starting pitchers of the last decade, the Detroit Tigers' game at Seattle Wednesday night ultimately came down to the bullpens. Once again, the Mariners had the upper hand. And it cost the Tigers in a 3-1 loss. Detroit was swept in the three-game series at Safeco Field and has now lost four straight games overall. Tigers starter Justin Verlander matched Seattle starter Felix Hernandez, leaving the game with a 1-1 tie after seven innings. But Tigers reliever Justin Wilson was hit hard for the second night in a row. The Mariners broke the tie in the eighth when Nelson Cruz blasted a 422-foot homer run to the center field. The Tigers (61-53) get a day off Thursday before starting a three-game weekend series at Texas. The Rangers (68-47) have the best record in the American League. (Mlive)
