Was that some fight out of the Tigers last night???? Who are these guys and where have they been all summer. It's nice to see Cast continue his good hitting.
It did not take long for Detroit Tigers manager Brad Ausmus to pencil Marc Krauss into the starting lineup. Krauss joined the team in Seattle on Tuesday and will be in the lineup tonight for the Tigers as they continue their three-game series with the Seattle Mariners. Krauss will start at first base and bat seventh for Detroit. Krauss is hitting .192 with a .595 OPS. He has 11 home runs, 40 RBIs and 117 strikeouts in 365 career at-bats in the majors. cmon Tigs, Happ is nothing and whats up with Lowe? I thought that guy was out of the league. nothing frustrates me more than how many guys are left on base. Tigers always seem to leave a ton, those are wasted opportunites that never seem to go away. Ill have my midmarking soon....if anyone cares
counting on Krauss and Marte to win games is a recipe for disaster, neither one of these guys is a solution to anything. if DBrow is smart(which he is) he'll out Simon in the bullie where he belongs and make a move for a starter. I said before the season started and Ill say it again, the numbers dont lie Simon doesnt have the stamina and/or the stuff to be a starter. thats not a knock on him, its just what his makeup is. his numbers are tanking just like they did last year after a great start to the season. Ian Krol needs to get walking papers, Ive seen enough of his crap too
