I want this so bad to be a pitchers duel. JV of 2012 wouldve made this game an instant classic, Cole is no joke. hes one guy who lived up to his high billing these games are so much more fun to watch when VMart is in there, hes been on fire lately. these pitchers gotta figure things out. Gorzellany and Jobba the Hutt havent been worth a shit and Nesbitt brought Shane Greene with him in a nosedive couple side notes, I know we cant keep everyone but check out some of the numbers some recent former Tigs are putting up. Scherzer should be no suprise but Peralta, Torii Hunter, fat ass Fielder, Benoit - even Robbie Ray......Porcello not so much
Great points. Prince is only hitting .340 or some crazy thing like that. Ex-Tigers are killing it this year and the new Tigers are strugglimg... thats the story so far and a big reason why the Tigs are 6 back. _________________________________________________________________________________ Please be the real Verlander tonight! Coles ERA is sic...
Tigers rally, Tigers fall, 5-4 in 14 innings. VMart after being beaned in the back, said after the game; "I have no respect for anybody on that team". This series may get all fired up before its over... the tension between both teams is brewing and i think the Tigers have had about enough.
Good. Maybe they can actually show some fire. The offense has, for the most part, been non-existent over the last month and a half. I get that VMart was injured, but there is TOO much talent to only be scoring a run or two on most nights.

Ausmus on whether he thought VMart HBP was intentional: "Yeah. At the time I did. I don?t know for a fact it was, but I thought it was."
had to work tonight and had a quick chance to turn on the bucs/tigers in the 8th I think. Bucs hit 3 HRs off of Jabba in the inning. ouch! I didn't realize he was still pitching.
Pirates win 9-3. Joba is a joke. Brad Ausmus is quickly becoming one... no, correction. He is one too.

For whatever reason the bucs have fared pretty well in Detroit if I recall correctly. Still not over yet today
