Tigers are starting to roll, when is my man VMart coming back? hes the straw that stirs the drink ...whos the guy batting 6th and 9th?
VMart should be rehabing in Toledo soon. Billy Hamilton is the rookie speedster sensation they were waiting for. Eugenio Suarez was just called up because Zack Cozart, a player i dig, is lost for the season. ( ripped apart his knee )

I have some thoughts on this team right now but Im gonna wait until the All Star break before I comment. theres definitely a few things have caught my attention
Good stuff, ive been wondering. He hasnt played all that well here in Toledo, but he has been playing and thats the bottom line. He should be playing in Detroit if at all.

Yankees 7, Tigers 2: Justin Verlander gives up three homers, charged with six runs in New York. Justin Verlander gave up a big home run to Alex Rodriguez on Friday night. And then he gave up a couple more. Making his second start this season, Verlander allowed three home runs in a start for just the fifth time in his career as the Detroit Tigers were dealt a 7-2 series-opening loss to the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium. It's the third straight loss for the Tigers, who fell to one game above .500 and have dropped a season-high six games behind the first-place Kansas City Royals in the American League Central. They now trail the second-place Minnesota Twins, who currently own the second wild-card spot, by three games. On the heels of a strong season debut last Saturday, Verlander took a step back Friday when he was charged with six runs and managed just strikeouts in 6 2/3 innings. It's the second straight start he's been limited to only two punchouts. It certainly wasn't a terrible start for Verlander, who threw 117 pitches and topped out at 95 mph, according to MLB Gameday. But he induced just nine swings-and-misses, and gave up double-digit hits. Verlander's pitching line took a hit when Tom Gorzelanny relieved him with two outs in the seventh and promptly gave up a run-scoring single to Mark Teixeira. Gorzelanny has now allowed 11 inherited runners to score in his last nine outings.
