David Price named the opening day starter. First time since 2006 (I think) that JV hasn't been the guy to go on Opening Day.
I saw that. You know, it just might be a good thing for JV. Might take off some of the added pressure.
***** Miguel Cabrera and Victor Martinez are playing in a minor-league game today in Lakeland. Ahead of Grapefruit League debuts tomorrow.*****
VMart in one game today and Cabrera in the other as the Tigers do a split-squad thing. FSD will carry the game with VMart in it at 1pm.
http://fantasynews.cbssports.com/fa...s-justin-verlander-gives-up-3-homers-in-start It is a good thing that David Price is the opening day pitcher for the Tigers. Justin Verlander has some work to do.
Sure hope he has a bounce back season. Im kinda concerned about the staff. Tigers might have to out slug their way through the season.
he needs to stop taking pointers from Nathan Im really impressed with JD, Im not gonna lie I thought last year would be an aberration and I know its only spring traning but hes locked in and hitting the seam off the ball. I fully expected a big dropoff when Torii left but maybe there wont be. The real test of course in the regular season, teams have scouting report on him now so it wont be this easy for him in a couple weeks. As long as he doesnt pull a Rob Fick I think things will be ok
