  5. By the way you guys see Miggys homer? That was sick!

  6. he can play some.

Todays matchup on the mound has Justin Verlander (12-8) going up against Andy Pettitte (7-9). Pettitte is coming off his worst perfomance of the season. Guess what, Andy...it gets even more worse today.

He hit one a couple days ago that measured 449'...guess he didnt get all of it. :)

I got the perfect word that describes Miggy...legend. We are watching a living legend. Hes just unbelievable. He leads in BA by about 30 points now and has caught and tied for the lead in RBI. I guess that is what he does for an encore. MVP, again? I think so.

  9. Will I need my daily roster :) wanted to see if Avila was back in and where Iglesias was playing and batting. isnt today a 1:00 start?

  11. Thanks Will. Hmmm Avila is still out, man I hope its nothing serious. Perez should be 9th and I put Iglesias 7th, put the little bit of speed we have in after the thumpers. I think Pettite gets lit up again today, dog days of August are when those roids probably helped him more than anything. Im looking for JV to build off that last start, he always seems to good against the Yanks and I love watching them struggle with him. GO TIGERS!!!

Just precautionary and Leyland wants all the righties in he can. Pena' got some pop too, 3 HR's and 17 RBI. Much rather have Avila catching Verlander though.

  13. agreed, my only worry is the 3 for 3 the Yanks had in steals. but yeah rest him while you can. havent looked at the numbers but I think the Yanks have been subpar w/ RISP, so advancing the runner may be a moot point. Tigs lookin good early 1-0

  14. hmmm, avila a late scratch *DONT_KNOW*

  15. Willie Head Coach Manager News & Notes Vikings

Yeah...It might be more than just precautionary, hope not. Still waiting word.
