The magic number for the Tigers to make the Wild Card is now 4. They better learn how to hit (Castellanos, Suarez, Davis and some others). Getting shutout by the Sox pitcher last night was unacceptable, not only at anytime, but especially when your playing for your playoff life. Everyone seems to be trying to crush the ball and get the big blast instead of thinking rally, or manufacturing, or just plain old driving the ball hard somewhere. Not everybody can be a masher, time for some team play.

theres about 4 guys in our lineup that can make the Eefus pitch look like a Randy Johnson fastball circa 2003
Tigers up 3-0 in the 9th. David Price remains in because of Joe Nathan issues. David Price gives up 2 runs and remains in because of Joe Nathan issues. David Price gives up the tying run because of Joe Nathan issues. Even when Joe Nathan isn't on the mound he is creating problems for the Tigers. This needs to be his very last season in Detroit.

By the sounds of a Dan Dickerson scream it was a beauty. Pitch was down at the knees and he did a great job getting it down. Lots of crazy going on's in this game. I have company in from Arizona... not baseball fans, but I managed to get most of this game in on the radio. Didnt want to miss a Verlander, Sale match-up.
This was the scene at Comerica this morning about 11 Am, popped this pic off before we left the job site. No suprise, VMart was one of the only players there already warming. One of the many reasons I love that guy. Great win for the Tigs, JV looking good two starts now. Romine with the some timely hitting. As much as I like Sale what a douche accusing one of the classiest players in the league of stealing signs - cmon man, thats garbage. He thought there was a guy in CF w binoculars. Thats such crap, you stunk today get over it Chris. Magic number is 4!! If Seattle loses tonight we clinch a Wild Card *DANCE*
