Plus he has been clutch as of late as well. As much as I love Pena, Avila knows this pitching staff and I will take his experience over the young Pena

i can't wait for us to have our own glogs here. the tigers glogs cBS are really bad, thanks to a couple of really bad tigers fans, and the losers that are attracted to them like a troll magnet. the endless BS between vice and bums gets really old.
Agreed... I tried to enjoy it for a while. Just became the same ol' stupid stuff. Like you very well said, it got old really fast. New glogs will be great...its always fun to enjoy a game with somebody. More interesting, imo.
Well, the win streak is over. What a run it was. Nice comeback by Detroit, just fell a little short, 4-3 in extras.
hes better than great, hes one of the best EVAR!! Dirks and Hunter strand 15 - thats not great, especially where Hunter bats in the lineup. runners get the green light when Avila isnt behind the dish, everyone knows Brayans here for his bat. Hope Avila was just getting a rest hes really coming along and his defense is a huge upgrade, hes got a rocket arm with uncanny accuracy.
Todays starting lineups for the Tigers and Yankees: 1. Austin Jackson (R) CF 2. Torii Hunter (R) RF 3. Miguel Cabrera (R) 3B 4. Prince Fielder (L) DH 5. Victor Martinez (S) 1B 6. Don Kelly (L) LF 7. Eduardo Nunez (R) SS 7. Lyle Overbay (L) 1B 8. Jayson Nix (R) 3B 9. Austin Romine (R) C[/*] Got the big guns back in there...Avila and Kelly.
Will whats the word on Infante? hes another guy I think that can be an underrated piece to the puzzle. Santiago is great off the bench also I thought I heard hes close to coming back. get those two back and the infield shuffling can stop. I really like Iglesias abilty to play so many position in the infield, every team wants that flexibility but few have it. ankle injuries are tricky I hope Infante doesnt rush it. hes one of the few in our lineup thats got some speed on the basepaths also If thats my lienup card Id alternate the lefties and righties at the bottom of the order. it makes it more difficult to extend the 'specialist' pitchers late in the game. Perez should alternate w Jose same for Kelly and Avila. having 3 out of 4 batters leftahanded in a row will allow the Yanks to leave a guy in longer and keep their bullie fresh. make them clowns throw a guy in for one out and get pulled, oh well I like Leyland alot and Im not a coach so......
From MLB.com, on Infante: NEW YORK -- The Tigers appear set to give Omar Infante a few more days on his rehab assignment at Triple-A Toledo to make sure his previously sprained left ankle can hold up for the stretch run. Infante played second base for the Mud Hens on Thursday without trouble despite a slide into him at the bag, according to manager Jim Leyland. "I think he'll probably play the weekend," Leyland said on Friday. "I would say possibly, if everything goes right, [we'll] shoot for possibly Monday. But don't hold me to that." lol... I wonder sometimes myself what he's thinking. He keeps things interesting and he keeps his players on their toes, for sure.
LOL. i don't tweet, and i think the world would be a better place without twitter. but, that being said (sorry cutter ), have a look at this. not sure what to make of it. https://twitter.com/SneakyPower39
lol, holy crap is right. the more i think about it, the more i figure it can't be them. it does say parody at the top, and i can't see the tigers allowing a lot of what was said there, so i have to guess neither account is real.
actually I like the Inge one personally. your starting to make me wonder if I should actually see what Twitter is all about
...ah the hell with that and facebook. Im sooooooo tired of people asking me if Im on Facebook, and I always say the same thing - I have no use for that and could care less
Looks real to me. The way things are going for Coke lately, he couldnt handle playing in the outfield either. Probably sail all the throws to the cut-off man. Tigers back on track...9-3 winners. A new streak begins.
