http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article/det...md=20140830&content_id=92245154&vkey=news_det Before the games began on Saturday, I thought that the Tigers would achieve a double-header split. I just didn't see the split coming from a Scherzer loss and a Ryan win.
http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/gameday/index.jsp?gid=2014_08_30_detmlb_chamlb_1&mode=recap_away&c_id=det Of all the Tigers starting pitchers, I worry about Scherzer the least. He had a bad inning but I'm sure that he will be ready to go the next time he pitches.
I thought exactly the same thing. After Scherzer and company lost the day game, I didnt have too much hope of anything good coming from the nightcap. I was surprised. Ryan was great. Cabrera nursing that ankle today, but have no fear, Donnie Baseball to the rescue! (and first base).
Looks like shotty defense rears its ugly again. Porcello wishes he had some help behind him. 2-0 Sox.
I cant watch this crap anymore. Field the [del]freekin[/del] freaking ball!!! I got so flustered, I forgot how to spell.
Castellanos just dropped his cell phone, Kelly dove for it and missed, Kinsler picked it up and tried to hand it back to Kelly, but threw it out the window. All this upon take-off headed back to Detroit.
