Yes it was. The Kalinka took me by surprise. Do you have any experience with Atdhe streams? They seem ok to me, no issues in 2 games I streamed. Just wondered what you think, if anything.
whoa, i'd forgotten all about atdhe. there were the first video streaming site i used, i think. [semi-tangental rant] ok, look, i get it. these streams violate copyright laws. here's the part i don't get. the US court system has established a fast track system for taking down certain websites deemed to be in violation of intellectual property laws. there are several things wrong with this system. one bright spot is that this system is limited to, i believe, .com and .net addresses. the scam used is that the company which was granted control of those two TLDs (top level domains) is Verisign, which is a US corporation. HA, WE GOTS JURISSDICKSHUNN!!!!!!11 the next part of the scam is that upon a complaint, these domains are seized without any defense presented. no due process whatsoever, someone said u were naughty and the courts say well alrighty then, fuck u. and now, here's the best part. the complaining party is the US's very own deparment of homeland security. because, u know, sites streaming games and selling supposedly counterfeit shoes are TERRORISTS. and the cherry on top - in particular, the branch of DHS that does this is ICE - immigration and customs enforcement. *CRAZY* *CRAZY* *CRAZY* [/semi-tangental rant] soooo, years ago, ICE seized the address atdhe.net. it came back as something else, with a new .whatever, but it was AFU at first, so i ended up drifting away from them. haven't used them in years. i don't remember any particular issues with them. hoping u at least have anti-virus, any site is prone to get an occasional rogue link. now, a question - which address are u using specifically? i got a ton of hits for just "atdhe". the first one listed was atdhe.ru, but they had no tigers game - i am guessing u are on atdhe24.net? since i see they had a handful of links for this one. (i'm watching via livetv.ru/en tonight, but i'll be adding atdhe back to my bookmarks) which begs the question - since it's a .net, how is it that address hasn't been seized yet? *SCRATCH*
ps: since i don't want livetv to think i don't love her anymore, i should mention that the stream i got from them tonight for this game has proven to be as good as it gets. no buffering, excellent video quality. *KISSED* *THUMBSUP*
Ive used this a few times recently for NFL games over the weekend. http://www.atdhe.cc Havnt seen a Tigers game listed on there tonight. But Im getting a few links together for NHL and NFL games this Fall and Winter. I forgot about the one you mentioned (livetv.ru/en) in your post. I'm going to add that to the collection too. Im greatful this stuff is still out there...cant beat the price.
