it's a verified account, ffs. what are u, stupid or something? i wonder if eklund's account is verified.
lol, I never noticed the verification mark on twitter, and I never knew it reads out "verified account" when copied. Probably been there awhile.

poor piano puller - all that work last night, and he didn't even get the 3rd star, let alone the first.
lol, i kid u not. hank got first, lack got second (first wouldn't have hurt my feelings either, he was sensational), and everybody's favorite acquired for a first round pick kyle quincey got third. my first thought was ffs, they let that moron from the macomb daily pick the 3 stars again - but nope, it was a guy from the windsor star, who, as far as i know, is sane.
Datsyuk shooting for Thursday. He has missed 14 games with a knee issue but will play in two games before the Olympics, if all things go according to plan. Certainly would be fantastic for the Wings, for sure.
Great news, Maurice. Hope he steps in like he never missed a beat. Should be a big lift for the team. Monty Python wrote: ...and there was much rejoicing.
Bravely bold Sir Robin Rode forth from Camelot He was not afraid to die Oh Brave Sir Robin He was not at all afraid to be killed in nasty ways Brave, Brave, Brave Brave Sir Robin. He was not in the least bit scared to be mashed into a pulp Or to have his eyes gouged out, and his elbows broken To have his kneecaps split and his body burned away And his limbs all hacked and mangled, Brave Sir Robin. His head smashed in and his heart cut out And his liver removed and his bowels unplugged And his nostrils raped and his bottom burned up And his penis... Brave Sir Robin ran away. Bravely ran away, away. When danger rears its ugly head He bravely turned his tail and fled. Yes Brave Sir Robin turned about He gallantly chickened out. Bravely taking to his feet He beat a very brave retreat. Oh bravest of the brave, Sir Robin.
It's funny about how much faster Ilitch's plan for an arena/entertainment complex moves at many times the speed of Rickett's attempt to put a freaking sign up at Wrigley. The land transfer is already approved and the list of heavyweight supporters probably spends enough to keep the city council in line. Interesting. Land transfer approved 2 days ago to the development bureau/ministry/whatever they call it in Detroit.

Probably has to do with Mr. I being a major money investor and revenue generating asset to a desperate city that absolutly needs more of what Ilitch has done in the past. Downtown is alive because of him on a large scale.
