good deal. jimmy seems to play great at the staples center, not sure why but i'm not arguing. i remember a 50+ save game for him there, season before last i think. happy to hear this isn't bad enough to inactivate him.

 

jimmy needs to give sami's water bottle back... or maybe a carpathian gypsy is following him around and giving out the ol' evil eye.

 

Sounds like I missed a hell of a battle by the Wings.

I dig Tyler Bertuzzi' numbers...very impressive. I bet he's fun to watch play.

 

I checked the standings in the East, and there are 9 teams within 5 points of each other. Wings need a consistent streak in a very bad way, because their one of the 9 teams. Its definitely on. No room for anymore inconsistent play and I sure hope that dreaded injury bug will leave already.

 

That sucks about Franzen still feeling dizziness, doesnt sound good at all. Wondering about Datsyuk too...havnt heard too much on his status.

Henrik Lundqvist made 38 saves as the Red Wings have been shut out 1-0 in back-to-back games. Jimmy Howard was fantastic again. Its too bad the Wings dont have the firepower right now to go along with their defensive effort.
