He will miss Thursdays game, wich will be his 9th straight game missed. Nice to see he's feeling better, though.

 

Datsyuk is a no go tomorrow night.
Helm is a game time decision.
Dekeyser is back in.
Franzen skating at practice, dont know when he will be back, though.

 

well Dats better get his back on the ice, because my fantasy team is suffering.

 

I have a feeling Pavel will be out for a while, and Babcock basically said as much. I wouldn't expect him back for another few weeks

I still like Tatar. He has a lot of room to improve (particularly in the defensive zone) but he's only 23. With the amount of injuries the Wings have had this year he's been given a little too much responsibility. He's going to make mistakes, but I'm willing to live with them while he learns how to play in the NHL. This may be a stretch of a comparison, but I remember Datsyuk having mental lapses in the defensive zone his rookie year as well. Time will tell with Tatar.

the elbow by cleary was definitely a cheap shot. my best guess is a fine, but i know better than to think i can predict the wheel o' shanny. didn't see a high stick on the play, but i no longer have the luxury of rewinding.

 

Damn I missed that game. We only get a couple fights a year. Just heard Brian Rafalski signed a one year deal with the Florida something or others in the ECHL. He's looking to make an NHL comeback

 

Franzen still out, and Datsyuk and Helm will not be in the lineup for tonights game. Sure wish these guy's could get healthy. Gotta make due with what you got, though. Just seems tough not having your best players together long enough to gell and get some chemistry going.

Will dont you ever have any good news? Howie had an awesome game last night and how hes hurt, this is something else with all these injuries. I know every team gets them but it just never ends with the Wings. How often have we had a full complement of players this year? Once....twice

No kidding. Thats all Ive been doing is reporting injuries. On top of Jimmy getting hurt, Alfredsson was a late scratch also. It never ends.

I took the ccc opening to cover the Red Wings and touched on the injuries in my article. Tim should have it up soon. That will be my first for hockey. I plan on cranking out some more. I told Tim, you suggested I cover the Wings...I hope I dont let you guy's down.
