of course I would and as always it falls on deaf ears and all you guys start telling me about how Holland is so great and the Wings dont need the tough guys 'they win with skill' - bullsh*t. our star players are dropping like flies and some of them are from dirty hits. the team is barely above .500 and look like crap. If this team is so full of skill and depth then we shouldnt break stride when Hank and Pav is out. If you tell me Cowan shouldnt have paid a price for what he did then this conversation was over before it started

 

has nothing to do with Parros, and Ill assume Tim Jackman is on the team for his shootout ability

 

i'm not saying that at all. i'd have been fine with any number of wings beating on him there. bert comes to mind right away.

what i WILL tell u is this - if u think we need to dedicate a roster spot for someone who can only punch people then this conversation was over before it started

I didnt watch the game and have no idea what play your talking about. was Jackman even dressed? Im not gonna comment on things I havent actually watched. I will say Jackman is not one of the better enforcers

 

kyle quincey boarded getzlaf and got 5 and a game. i don't remember exactly who dressed that night. i do remember that no one put a beating on anyone, aside from the scoreboard.

 

The Red Wings have lost all five games they've played at Joe Louis Arena this month and are 0-4-2 in their last six games overall. Tonight, Tootoo is in the lineup, and I'll bet on his first shift or maybe his second, he dances with somebody. The Wings need a spark, and that might be just the thing to get this team going. Im tired of the losing, and they must be too. Hoping for better results.

Zetterberg is due back on December 28th... I think the Wings have reallly missed him out on the ice. They look discombobulated a lot of the time.
