Red Wings recall Tootoo from GR, he will be in the lineup Thursday.

Abdelkader, skated today at the outdoor practice at CoMerica Park, he stated that he doesnt have headaches or dizziness anymore after the hit from Engelland, who recieved a 5 game suspension for that hit.

Did Quincey get away with one?

OK, I'll go first. I think he did. Should at least been fined.

  4. mattymcgee55 Legend Patriots Bruins

    I think he did too.

I do believe that he didn't mean to hurt anybody, but he's such an idiot out there his recklessness should have sat him for a game.

I guess the punishment for Detroit is having to dress Quincey again.

I can't believe I thought the Quincey trade was sound judgement and that the extension was relatively low risk.
    His suckitude cannot be quantified.

cutter, what is your team name in the original fantasy league? Safe bet is Charlestown Chiefs.

Nice shot of the stadium getting set up for a hockey game.

  9. i watched quincey's hit on getzlaf, the captain of a team with a reputation of taking no shit from anyone. i didn't see any of the ducks put a beating on quincey, or anyone else on the wings. they did it on the scoreboard.

  10. mattymcgee55 Legend Patriots Bruins

ya i was kinda surprised that none of the Ducks did anything w/ the fists there.

Datsyuk was in the lineup, nobody on the ducks was going to start something. They have seen his work before...they were scared.

  13. really? when does or has Getzlaf put a beating on anyone. hes big but hes a pansy and he doesnt have a clue how to fight. nice try. I know you love Holland and like to play devils advocate but that was weak

  14. he fights paperweights and thats it. Guerin might be the toughest guy hes fought and hes 39!! and he still cant take him out - pathetic

  15. i didn't say getzlaf didn't fight anyone, i said no one did. am i imagining things, or are the ducks considered to be a tough team?

don't tell me if someone boarded hank or pavel and got ejected and no one on the wings fought someone, you wouldn't be all over it.

  16. watch out, this ones against Fedor Tyutin - I can count all his career fights on a couple fingers. I havent even watched this and dont need to. Why didnt he go after Kris Russell

  17. no but you did say he doesnt take sh*t from no one - hes almost as big of a joke as that statement. so Im giving you some examples of his toughness

  18. heres a barnburner. Mike Fisher - you have to be kidding me. hes like 5'8. again I didnt watch and dont need to. hes not tough Lulz, never has been and never will be. If when you say he never takes sh*t from anyone under 5'10 Ill agree. hes very tough in that capacity

  19. Cody Bass....enough said. Getz wanted a piece of Russell but he was preoccupied so Ryan got the next smallest guy on the ice

  20. lol sorry, i can see where u got that impression. i was referring to the ducks there, not getzlaf personally. shoulda said captain of a team which takes no shit. english are fun :)

but, upon further review, that no longer seems to be the case. maybe it's the departure of your boy, but they're now in the bottom half of the league in majors and PIMs.

let the record reflect that the ducks are pussies now too ;)
