You got that right. Gotta feel for Weiss, he's just not got it going right now. Hopefuly he heats up soon.
I'm a little surprised Weiss hasn't heated up yet. I was happy to see Almquist score. He saw the d coverage leaving a gap and bolted for it and finished a prime chance. 3 inches and 25 lbs is all he needs to be a stud.
Chelios hated the Red Wings and said he would never play in Detroit. He ended up playing eight-plus seasons here, until he was 46.
That was a very entertaining roster back then. Check it out: http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/leagues/seasons/teams/0000341986.html
Chelios hated Bettman and said hed never want to even be in the same room with him. They now share a timeshare condo in Malibu
Helm will get some time on the second line tonight with Tatar and Alfredsson. Babs looking for more offensive production out of the second unit. Sounds good to me.

solid game by Quincey, turning the puck over and having it result in a goal is always something you look for in a grossly overpaid defenseman
What ever happened to home ice advantage for the Red Wings? Still have 5 of 6 at home, MUST take advantage of the schedule and start beating some teams. A golden opportunity to pick up some points and gain some ground is getting squandered.
On the brighter side... It all becomes official tonight, a couple of my favorite players, Shanahan, and Chelios will enter the Hall. Glad they both played in Detroit for a while and I really liked the way they played the game. Two of the best.
Mike Babcock has made Daniel Cleary a healthy scratch tonight in hopes the break will enable him to perform better. Cleary has just 3 points in the Red Wings first 18 games.
