always impressed w/ how well the Wings play positionally. Even if you can beat them off the wall in the offensive zone there are never any seams to pass through. That little F'er Datsyuk is pretty good.

 

all the other times they've played him, in a Leafs uni, its been touchdowns.

 

I don't recall the wings looking that good for 3 periods of a day game in years. Sure they won their share but it was one of the few times recently when they were ready at puck drop and played 60 minutes. Plenty of brainfarts but those legs were moving all game.

 

Gustavsson stopped 64 of 67 shots in victories over the Boston Bruins and Columbus Blue Jackets on back-to-back days to help the Red Wings stretch their winning streak to three games. Wings beat the Blue Jackets 2-1. Thats the Gus, I was hoping to see when the Wings got him from Toronto.

Zetterberg is off to his best start ever and Datsyuk continues to amaze. Fun team to watch.

Day to day is good, but concussions are some serious business. Hope he does well.

 

Howard is back in goal tonight. Kronwall hopes to return in a week. I hear he feels great, but he's going to get a little rest.

 

Brendan Smith and Samuelsson are back tonight also.

4 goals in the third period - really! they made Ribeiro look like Jari Kurri last night. thats was ridiculous to a team that should not have beat us. way to much complacency in that game. on the bright side Big Bert with his 3rd

 

I like this Will. nicely done, I think along with the standings of the team any Wing fights should be listed *YES* . itll be easy to include ,at the end of the year you'll be able to count them all on one hand

Bertuzzi has looked very good so far. Hope he stays healthy. He looks like he's having alot of fun out there.
