3-2 griffins, evans unties it with a shot from the left point. goalie maybe screened by his own guy, no griffins in front.
what about the Wings and Derek Roy? the free Ruuskie - English translation is funny- They are not, they will not, they will never stop party.
babelfish has gone to complete ****. they will translate ukrainian, but not russian. i don't know what translator u used, matty, but bing is the best one i'm aware of. cutter, every time i see u try to post that smilie, i see too few characters. previously, i posted the correct set of characters, in a "code" box. have u tried copying and pasting that? it is four characters: backslash - lower case m - backslash - frontslash. i've never been particularly impressed with derek roy.
Maybe the winning in GR will translate up a level like it did for the Caps. AHL hockey is fun to watch, glad the franchise had a long run.
Fair enough. What we read obviously isn't always true. The problem here is the lack of decent centers in the NHL and bad contracts like the one the Leafs gave Grabovski make it very difficult for a guy like Fil to not get what he wants. I guess we'll see what happens over the next couple weeks. My guess is Fil is history and Holland if he's lucky maybe gets a mid round pick for him if he trades his rights away. He could have picked up much more then just a lousy draft pick for him had he traded him a lot earlier.
No thanks on the 7 year 42 million dollar deal. At best IF Weiss raises his game and becomes something special on a good team he earns his money and doesn't completely kill the Wings cap situation. But at worst a contract like that is deadly.... If he wants a very expensive short term deal with a promise to extend early if he proves himself to be worthy of a big contract I'd overpay for 2 years and around 13 million dollars. If it pans out, extend him after a season or shortly there after. If he doesn't pan out then Holland would still have the summer of 2014 to use the amnesty on him and buy him out without hurting the team's cap situation. Heck I'd give him 14 million over 2 years if Fil is gone and that's what it takes to sign him... go ahead. Because he only gets 1 year to prove his worth ...... can't hurt the Wings for longer if he doesn't do the job. But to pay him 42 million for 7 years in my opinion is insane. Question though. Isn't the only way Weiss gets a 7 year deal through a sign and trade? I thought 6 years was the max he can sign for if he leaves where he's at as an UFA?
The limits are 7 and 8. Weiss will get 7 years. He gave a huge discount to Florida already, and he's been screwed around on the roster. He's making a business decision with this contract in my opinion.
Ok, thanks. I thought limits were 6 and 7. Bob, a question for you. Am I absolutely nuts for thinking that Weiss isn't worth a 7 year deal for that kind of money? Yes, he's a very good player who COULD become something special on a really good team. But how many times have we seen what appeared to a really good player go to a better team and not really improve a whole lot? People assume that it's automatic. They assume that very good player on bad team = great player on good team. But for 7 years and anything close to 42 million in my opinion that appears to be one heck of a huge risk.
cutter, every time i see u try to post that smilie, i see too few characters. previously, i posted the correct set of characters, in a "code" box. have u tried copying and pasting that? it is four characters: backslash - lower case m - backslash - frontslash. every other smiley I post works just by clicking on it, why is the coolest one such a pain. it wont let me cut and paste it, not understanding why all the other ones work. think this guy....
