Btw, did I mention Datsyuk is a real dbag for letting it leak that he's bolting a year early? All the vets know where this team stands next year without him and without an elite center option available on the market.
I'm still not writing Detroit out of this series but Blashill's inability to shift lines effectively is getting more worrisome by the shift.
Another good point, Bob... I wondered how that would effect the team. He still may even change his mind, but i doubt it. Puts added pressure on the front office in the mean time to get something big done this Summer... no more standing pat or signing 3rd rate FA's. Detroit has to do something big and sure have their work cut out for them this off-season.
do you think it was definitely Datsyuk's decision to let that leak or could it have been someone else and he just owned up to it? not defending him, just wondering here.
