Mucho respect. The east is in a bit of upheaval right now. Ott, TO, Mon all question marks, I think at least one of them will be very strong, maybe all 3. NYR? NYI? Philly I think will bounce back. Detroit could waltz in and be a top 3 seed, wouldn't completely surprise me if they have more reg season points than Boston.

I agree, and I would also suggest one tries filling out Detroit's lineup.

Griffins win 4-2 tonight, to go up in the series 3 games to none. Griffs with 13 goals in 3 games...not bad.

    ...or maybe 4 :)

  5. They have dominated, Will. They'll win 5-2 on Friday :)

A special thanks from the hockey world to the Detroit Redwings. Had they not made Blackhawks fans crap their pants a few weeks ago after game 4, they would be effin' retardos (not retards) after that game 1 win.

Thanks Detroit Redwings, I can tolerate my fellow fans this time around.

  7. Griffins domination coming in just over an hour. I'm calling a Tatar hat trick.

"retardos" ... that's obviously Spanish. see, high school was good for something.

  9. :( Lame. Game 5 is at 7:00 tomorrow, meaning the 2nd and 3rd periods will be during the 1st and 2nd periods of Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals. That sucks.

  12. Predictions for Game 5 tonight, Will? I don't want to see the series go back to Syracuse.

5-3 Griffins. They won't be flat again like they were in Game 4.

I think your right...they wont be flat tonight. Last home game this season in front of a sold out home crowd should make for a really fired up energetic group. I thinking they find their offense like before, and learned last game, that they have to stay out of the penalty box (Nyquist, this means you). I think your 5-3 is right on target, but I'll change it up and go with 6-2 (their screwed now) :) Sure has been a wild and fun season for alot of the young Wings... good for the experience factor.

Stanley Cup, Calder Cup...not a bad Saturday night of hockey on tap.

In all fairness to Nyquist...im hearing reports from people who saw the video, that it wasnt a spear. I didnt see the play myself (yet). May have been a bogus call, im hearing.

    flapjacks on a ferris wheel!
    Syracuse does it again.

    game six on tuesday night.

    what a great series!!

  17. Willie Head Coach Manager News & Notes Vikings

Thats messed up...jinxed them big time :)

My prediction for Tuesday nights game is Syracuse-11, Griffins-0. The Crunch's goalie stands on his head and even scores a couple goals.

aaaaahh, i see what you did there.

  19. Desjardins saved everything tonight. It was like watching J.S. Giguere in 2003 or Kiprusoff in games 5 and 6 in 2004.

    I'm with Will on Game 5. 11-0 Crunch :p

don't know who's gonna win game six, but I'll go out on a limb and say whoever wins game six wins the Cup.
