I think you'll see Tatar well before Jurco. I saw Jurco in a few games this year, I think it might be a while before he cracks the lineup. Jurco, Tatar, Pulkkinen, etc. all undersized. They have to make the physical strides Nyquist made in my opinion. I think Kenny will still have his share of 35+ crowd wingers next year...for your pleasure.
Good news for Danny Dekeyser and Wings fans...he has been cleared to play for the Griffins in the Calder Cup Championship series against Syracuse.
lol, sorry Cutter. Kenny drafted a few large bodies, they're not good at hockey really, but they're big. If it makes you feel better, I think this postseason has shown that skating and hands are more valuable than size and hitting, especially at the blueline.
he has drafted a little more size but not much and as far as the talent level goes......well I dont expect it to be a whole lot better with our ace in the hole Jim Nill gone
Try this out... http://theahl.com/watch-the-finals-for-free-on-ahl-live-p184148 I think you may have to register, but it is all free. Good luck.
Callahan, Sheahan and Nyquist the goal scorers. Mrzak played very well in goal for the Griffs also. Thats one pretty good hockey club...although I dont know too much about the AHL. I just know that some of the future Wings really look good.
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Landon Ferraro scored and added two assists as the Grand Rapids Griffins downed the Syracuse Crunch 6-4 on Sunday in Game 2 of the Calder Cup final. The Griffins now lead the American Hockey League's championship series 2-0. ...
Griffins rolling along. I was very disappointed to learn I have to go Monday and Tuesday without hockey. They don't play until Wed too.
