dunno about anyone else, but i am very happy to hear this.

 

I like it. A healthy and happy 'Mule' is very important to adding depth to the team and when he gets in a groove, he can bag tons a goals.

 

Even pre-concussion, Franzen's numbers have gone off a cliff since the 2011-12 season, which was his last relatively healthy season. It's hard to fathom or even expect to see those numbers return to 4 or 5 years ago. He is not the same the player he was. Not counting the 3 straight years of injuries, Father Time is piggybacking on The Mule these days.

 

Very valid point. Just still hoping he might have a little left in the tank, maybe a 20 to 25 goal range.

hey no badmouthing Babs - ah the hell with it hes gone, go ahead fire away. Was that a Babs thing or Holland. I thought there was some kind of agreement when he didnt sign with the Flyers theyd extend him or something. I dont know the details, I just know he doesnt belong in the NHL

 

MLive reporting blashill will be announced next week as the new coach with a three year contract. presumably, the soonest the announcement will come is tuesday.

Im not happy at all that Babs isnt coming back dont get me wrong but I think Blashill is gonna do a great job. he knows most of these kids, he grew up here, hes won everywhere he went(including Western ) but the thing I like the most is how young he is. if this works out hopefully we got a guy thats here a long time and his energy I think will do wonders for these guys

 

this guys gonna do well, his supporing cast isnt nearly what it was when we hired Babs and thats something to kepp in mind. I already know he'll do good if Chelly will be riding shotgun for him

reports are that the Wings are looking for a "mean" D to add in. I know the lack of righties should come in to play and I think that Ive found your answer. Not that I would want to lose him but he would make sense for the Wings.
