I count 3 bad games in his last 10, I cant get the damn thing to paste on here with his game logs right

say what?!? before yesterday's game, he played 19 more games since the 4 u inexplicably chose to list. first of all, by NJ, i assume u mean NYI. next, try again. here are his save %s for the last few games he's played: 3/31 sens .971 3/29 isles .636 3/28 bolts 1.000 3/26 snarks .895 3/19 florida .906 he's up and down like a yoyo. his cumulative save percentage, for the year, is right at league average.
ahhh, MAJOR edit job since i started posting lol. the post i was replying to, with 4 DECEMBER games listed, is gone now
i'll tell u where by repeating the last thing i said in my reply - his save percentage is exactly league average. it's not hard to figure out that for every great game, there's a bad one balancing it out, or else that % would be above average.
it didnt paste right, I highlighted stretches where he played well in consecutive games but it only copied part of it. And one of my points seeing as you so quickly replied to my post was that he started off really well and those December games were proof of that but there was more to the original post than what you seen. Instead of clicking preview I clicked submit
congrats on finding a five game stretch where this was true, should I look up some of Howards gems? I also notice you truncated the post and didnt include the previous 4 out of 5 games where he was lights out
it's not like i'm running around bragging about howard, is it? my point is simple - you're setting a really low bar. one good game - where his save percentage was .055 above league average - in my opinion, does not "more than make up for" a game where his save percentage is .279 below it. to put it another way, his bad game was more than 5 times below league average than his good game was above it. yes, howard is not playing well - but please don't use that as an excuse to falsely inflate how mrazek is playing. once again, in my opinion, this team is going nowhere unless at least one of these guys plays better than they've been playing. give me a fucking break. that was in direct response to your post, which u have since removed for reasons u explained, which CLAIMED to itemize his last 5 games. and because i posted what his ACTUAL last 5 games were - something your post claimed to have done - you're gonna accuse ME of cherrypicking? u gotta be kidding me. finding? those are his most recent 5 games. i didn't arbitrarily pick a stretch - YOU picked it. why? now it's my turn - what's your point? i am not claiming howard is playing well.
i didn't truncate anything. your post mentioned 5 games - the isles, which u identified as NJ, and the 4 before it. YOU chose the stretch to highlight, not me. i'm really disappointed in this BS. for replying in kind to a post u removed which talked about 5 games, i get accused of cherrypicking those 5, and truncating things which weren't mentioned. you're better than that, cutter.
ok and Im sure when its that far below league average(which I could care less about) its gonna be a loss anyways. whats the difference if you lose 7-1 or 3-2 its still a loss and those terrible games hes had have brought his numbers down. hes a rookie and Id say hes done pretty damn good considering that swiss cheese defense hes got in front of him for the third freakin time I didnt copy and paste it right - GIVE ME A FUCKING BREAK. and the 5 games you showed were not the 10 I put on there so yes you DID cherrypick it in your post Im dissappointed too, I made a simple point and you pissed yourself. you want to keep bringing up a post I accidentally put on here before I shouldve - knock yourself out, Im done with it. Thats not the debate here whether you responded to it before I could get it off there or not. and I dont need you to patronize me
i know u didn't copy it right - which is why i included "for reasons u explained". the point is, everything i said in the post u took such exception to was in direct response to that post. the post i replied to had FOUR games listed, along with the mention of the last game for 5. the four games were in december, and were the games previous to the sabres game. i reply by reposting accurately the games u thought u had posted, and for this, i pissed myself, cherrypicked, and truncated. ya, right. my bad. but i might need to physically quote u every time i dispute something u posted.
one thing that IS encouraging has nothing to do with goaltending - at least, not any of ours nice to see sauce and gus start scoring again. they had gone awfully quiet for the last month or 2. if we want any chance of success, those 2 guys can't put on owl boy's cloak of invisibility. they need to be front and center every game remaining this season.
except the post with 10 did not exist when i clicked reply to the post with 5 - the deleted post so often referred to..
one thing's for sure - neither of these guys make me confident about a postseason run right now, assuming we make it that far.
No Datsyuk and no Cole tonight. #13 hopes to go Saturday. Riley Sheahan passed his concussion test today and may go tonight.
