Howard was awful, I dont think hes healthy. for the exception of a few games hes been pretty bad since he returned from injury, this isnt the guy I watched be dominate in the first half. this defense deserves a lot of blame too, theyve been awful. theres too many missmatched pieces back there. guys that are stay at home playing with another stay at home, number 1's that are more like #4's etc. Im pretty close to pressing the button, the SHarks have been playing like crap between that and the Yotes that was 4 points I had chalked up and with the Bolts losing last night we couldve made up some ground. very disheartening

Red Wings dump Lightning, 4-0. Mrazek strong, PK strong, defense and #8 were strong. Good team effort that i havnt seen jn a looooong time.

ps: i hope paquette isn't hurt as bad as it looked, but i don't have a good feeling about that one. strange play, caught his left leg on the post preventing an empty netter, and the post didn't give way before his leg was twisted funky.

stephanie will not be talking to abby about the hit that took garrison out of the game. some mixed thoughts from tampa's coach about it.

tinky winky feeling better and is day to day. cole won't play today, but maybe tuesday.

if Im Babs Im giving serious thought to riding Mrazek into the playoffs. Hes been pretty damn good when hes been called upon, I dont like rookie goalies for the playoffs but he has to get his feet wet at some point and I can name quite a few rookie goalies off the top of my head that did very good in the playoffs. lets see what this kid can do

 

i'm sure he is at this point, cutter. jimmy hasn't been the same since he came back from the groin tear.

 

mrazek gives up 4 goals on 11 shots, pulled 16 seconds into the 2nd.

the wings won't do jack with ANY goalie who sucks on alternate starts, regardless of what his name is.
