Red Wings take on the Blue Jackets tonight. I hope to see a team fired up and ready to go. Their last game against Montreal was no fun to watch, Wings were off all game. But, tonights another game in a different city. Time to get'er done. Babcock says he wants more consistency, says his team is too 'hit and miss'. Me and Bab's think a like.

Andrej Nestrasil placed on waivers today. Hope he doesnt get picked up.

Wings placed Nestrasil on waivers to clear roster spot for Weiss. If Nestrasil clears by noon tomorrow he'll be assigned to Grand Rapids.

 

wow, i'm surprised to hear this, i would have thought he was still waiver-exempt.

 

I was surprised too, so I double checked and confirmed it. He's been getting healthy scratched lately also, so maybe he just isnt cutting it.
