ya, seems like those people are intimate with livestock. i found 3 links, each went to a betting site.
Sept. 23 -- at Chicago (United Center), 8:30 p.m Tonight against the Hawks, Weiss will play. Still no word on Datsyuk. Helm, Datsyuk and Sproul will not skate today. Helm was cut in the face (got his nose broken too), but did finish the game.
Babcock on Datsyuk's shoulder, "I'm not as worried as I was last night". He's injured but doesnt sound like he will be down long. Thats good news. He still has to have an MRI, tho. Sorry, I left that out on accident. He's in good spirits too. He said (Datsyuk), Helm looks like he's ready for halloween.
hopefully, it's the perfect excuse to sit pavel for the rest of the preseason. from what i saw last night, he doesn't need the practice. let him take the rest of exhibition off, and stay out of the way of these jackoffs like bortuzzo. staggy was ok last night, just his usual self (which i find far less offensive than edwards), but errey was as bad as i've ever heard him. i really enjoyed his black and white view of things. bortuzzo laid one of his many bad hits, and got whistled for it, and errey was instantly defending him - "he did what he had to do there". then a pens player goes down hard into the end boards, and errey's all over the wing he was skating with, talking about what a bad, dangerous play he made. after a couple of minutes of that, they show replays - well, guess what? the penguin went down on his own, the wing didn't do anything wrong at all. they were skating shoulder to shoulder, the wings' guy's stick never touched the pen, and he just fell into the boards.
This forces Babcock's hand, and I think that's a good thing long term. I have Dats at 58 games for the year and I doubt Kenny is expecting more than 65 from the 36 year old. Getting more of the young players into the mix now is a good thing so he doesn't have to give away as many shifts fumbling through lines later in the year when things are more important. Plenty of growing pains to work through over the course of the year and some of the younger ones will wear down too. They'll have to be shuffled in and out. I think most assumed Dats would take injuries this year, best to get one out of the way now rather than later imo.
I think your right. Dats has been setting a trend lately with a knee a concussion and now the shoulder. I would think they have a plan B, for sure. Im concerned and snake-bit after last season, that injuries are still going to be a problem. I hope Im wrong of course, but just dont have a good feeling about Zetterberg, Cleary and Weiss either. Going to need to have a revolving door ready to swing at any given moment. Wings just contracted Hicketts today too. An 18 year old defenseman who isnt big, but play's big.
heard the news on Dats on sports radio on the way home *WALL* *WALL* *WALL* *WALL* *WALL* *WALL* *WALL*
