As many of us said at the time, we should have resigned Brian Hoyer and had him compete with the rookie we drafted. At worst Hoyer could have been a mediocre bridge for about 1/3 the price.

I do want to point out that Shitwad got shutout today by the pathetic Saints. A TD at the final gun last week avoided him being shutout by the even lowlier Jets. He scraped by with a win 2 weeks ago against the Chargers because they missed a FG. Wasn't it Patg that thought he'd go to the Pro Bowl being reunited with Gase?

And remember when we'd run the wildcat with Forte and split Shitwad out and he'd do this:

Yep. It was EASILY the sensible play. But then even the easiest decisions can be made to look hard by these clown shoes mother_ckers.

Not that we need to justify a single thing, but yeah, he's def still plain old shitwad. I'm thrilled he's not here.

Their opening drive today was classic Cutler. Makes some nice throws, moves the ball then throws an absolutely terrible jumpball off his back foot that's picked by the smurf DB in the endzone. I smiled.

Wasn't it Patg that thought he'd go to the Pro Bowl being reunited with Gase?

He also said Cutler would walk into a starters job somewhere as soon as he left and was all for letting Hoyer walk. Patg pile on!! JK

I think I was one of the biggest advocates of this.

Pace, unfortunately played a risk v reward game.

If Hoyer came out and played the way he did last year, he's still not trade bait.

If Glennon came out and played "decently", he'd be huge trade bait.

So, we got rid of a guy who likely would have been much better than the turd we have, but had no upside long term. And instead spent a shitload on a guy we ikely were hoping to trade for a pick.

    Pace fucked up again,

Just remember, Lovie benched this guy. Lovie...

Non of that matters anymore. It's all about Trubisky now. With how well Watson has played Pace's ass is now directly over the fire. Time to see if he made the right pick. If he did nobody is going to give a rats ass how much money was wasted in Glennon.

Man, am I glad to be wrong. Or, until I see it, hope that I'm glad to be wrong.

Let's at least get him out there. Trubisky is all that Pace has left, keeping him in a job, so if he's no good, better to find out sooner than later. If he's the real deal, we can have something none of us are familiar with - a franchise QB.

I don't think I went that far. I did think he'd be good there. But he's just not been. He cant throw the same, poorly decided long ball that sometimes works with a competent receiver, its just all a bunch of 4 yard passes to Kenny Stills. Stills has gotta be among leaders in YAC right now.
