Some people think hes a talk show type of guy - I call BS, hes very knowledgable and is actually around these teams being part of the Kingston Frontenacs and knows what goes on. You bet, it's actually comical that they left domi and brown at home, then had problems on their PP, and now sutter's blaming the system.

Funny hearing Cherry lobby for a longer segment. I think its a good idea. A few extra minutes wouldnt hurt anything , and Don wouldnt have to rush so much and skip over stories he had lined up. The hurry, hurry, hurry type stuff is rather annoying.

Good Coach's Corner, interesting what he said about the St. Louis and Yzerman thing.

 

yeah crazy about Schenn, has there ever been any doubt that hockey players are the toughest. Im all for giving Cherry a longer segment. back when he first started in the early 80's he had a half hour, now he gets a handful of minutes. Its no wonder he gets so annoyed when MacClean interrupts him, but the show wouldnt be the same without Ron MacClean. I love when Cherry gets upset with him - funny as hell

 

it was interesting about St Louis, again politics get in the way. Ive never been real impressed with Seabrook. not sure why, he puts up good numbers like Cherry said and hes a rock back there but I dont know what it is but he just doesnt do much for me, I wouldnt have had him on team Canada if it was up to me

 

If I understand correctly, both Seabrook and St. Louis will be in there if there are injuries. They are more than likely the next in line.

I havnt seen to much of Seabrook, but he sure has some good numbers, +22, I believe Cherry said...thats tops. I like the point he made when he said, the Canadians could probably have 2 teams, and they would both probably make the medal round.

I agree with you on Ron. It wouldnt be the same without him. I like to look at it as contrast, and they disagree, but there's a great chemistry with them. Rons pretty witty too...he comes up with some good stuff. Did you catch what he said about Don's suit? Cherry even liked it.

 

So, I guess those Cherry sweaters we saw earlier were from the Top Prospects Game. Orr's look pretty good also. I wouldnt mind having a pair of those.

Can't stand Cherry. he thinks everything he says is Gospel. He's rude and an a-hole. Did you know that he only played 1 game in the NHL with the Bruins and then was dumped? I think he's still bitter over that......What a dick!!!

 

Thanks for sharing that, igloo. I happen to like him, Coach's Corner and Ron and HNIC in general. People love him or hate him...thats just the way it is.

BTW...is calling someone a dick and an assshole being rude?
