Oh please, I usually agree with you but this defense would make your grandmother look like a future HOF qb. To even mention Ben on a day he and the offense put up a zillion point is just not playing fair imho. To quote from the below article: https://steelersdepot.com/2018/09/steelers-vs-chiefs-winners-losers/ "Defense – I mean, I don’t even know what to say here. It was bad. All of it. I get that in pockets, the defense was put in tough spots and short fields to work with. But based on what you saw: missed tackles, blown coverages, limited pressure, it’s objectively terrible. Top to bottom. Feel free to comment on specific players, like Artie Burns, Bud Dupree (who lined up offsides, TWICE), even Mike Hilton seemed off, but it’s all terrible. Keith Butler – Really, you can put all the coaching here. But Butler’s unit is the one gashed. Terrible matchups, Watt on Watkins, Bostic on Kelce, and the defense got ripped down the seams all day long. It’s fair to wonder if he’ll make it through the season, let alone survive after it. As much as the Steelers value continuity, I don’t like his chances." I said they should fire that bum Keith Butler at end of last season and Terry Bradshaw agrees....makes no sense he is still around, but that's Tomlin's idiotic approach. We have a head coach and defensive coordinator who both literally do NOTHING well.
Anyone putting our QB anywhere near the reason we lost this game is out of their mind: After a slow start Roethlisberger completed 39 of 60 for 452 yards, three TDs passing and no interceptions. He ran for a fourth touchdown.
The defense sucked today. But Ben could have taken what they were giving. The Chiefs defense covered Brown well, but Ben still forced throws to him. He isn’t the reason we lost, but he still could have played better.
This is what I meant. It is very clear the defense was the reason for the loss, but Ben tried to force a couple and was fortunate not to have a pick or two.
#fireButler #clockistickingTricky This is pretty much the same fucking defense that gave up 45 points in a playoff game last year. 6 TDs passes given up today. No excuse for that.
This is true, but inaccurate, Mahomes was the last business conducted by John Dorsey before parting ways with the Chiefs. He set Andy Reid up for success.
Cool, all I know is that this guy was very much worth what they paid to get him. I think he has rare power in his arm and with the accuracy he showed today he is going to be the next superstar QB.
