It is a slightly reassuring that many of the players are so on top of their shit that they recognize this crap and police themselves. Byard talking to Flus about the last 2 plays. The players led intervention with Waldron after the Colts game is a great example. Bring in a real alpha coach who knows his shit and the sky's the limit (assuming Poles realizes he has to fix the OL).
The amount of pre-snap shit that this offense does is insane, for how bad the results are and for the complete lack of execution there is on EVERY SINGLE PLAY. I mean, you CAN'T RUN THIS OFFENSE right now. Simplify it. PLEASE. Everyone can see it. Caleb spending 15 seconds doing theatrics to get the playcall changed every time they line up, just to hand the ball off for 1 or 2 yards, is NOT A GOOD OFFENSE. Please, stop. It makes no sense. Simplify things. The coaches shouldn't be putting them in this position every week. And if it's Caleb that wants to call things at the line, 2 things are true: 1) He's a player, you're a coach. You're in charge. 2) Give him more ammo to work with, and simplify it so that the offense is better prepared / able to execute!
Okay here's the clip I was looking for I uploaded to dropbox. Watch Caleb run up the sideline on the white paint and end up around the 42 Dropbox
