I stay off the grid as much as possible. Angry ex wives, girlfriends, husbands of other women, people I’ve pissed off and so on...giving them as few ways to contact me as possible works in my favor.
There was a I quote I heard where Rodgers was asked about the missing open WRs on the deep balls. Rather than admitting he was off he said it had to do with him and the receivers not being on the same page. A not so subtle way to throw his teammates under the bus. Can't even own up to something when it's his fault.
That's pure unsportsmanlike of him and very unprofessional. He's had it his way for too long. I hope he plays for at least another 2 seasons so we can keep smashing him.
Is anyone surprised? The guy has always been a giant bitch. The girlfriend has been watching football with me, over the last few weeks. She's never been a fan, or even really watched it before. During the game yesterday, when Rodgers' close-up came on the screen, she said, "That guy looks like a total douche. Ugh". She didn't know who he was, at the time. I'm gonna marry her, folks.
Also, because we were spending the day together, I didn't get a chance to visit this thread, at all. Really looking forward to reading through here, this week. As always, you guys are the damn best. Division champs, baby. Let's soak it the fuck in, and prepare for some playoff football. Man, that feels good.
LOL ... oh my God Al HATED Bww ... I mean it went beyond anything I have ever seen on the internet before. He kept challenging Bww to send him his phone number and address (which Bww readily did a few times) so he could go beat him up.
Probably not Lyman but it didn't stop him from trying. It was funny up to a certain point then it just got stupid and sad ... I felt sorry for him at the end. He actually thought that Bww, Tim and I were all the same people. Ugh. Poor guy.
Yeah that whole thing was just great material. And as you know there was actually way more on the politics thread. Our board was just the bonus disc. In fairness to Al he was adamant that he could take bww. But like you say he also thought you were all the same person, sooo..... You never know. Once a marine always a marine, Lyman. Yes it did. But before that it was funny for a really long time.
She must be a good judge of character. See now my girlfriend screams at the TV and I mean fucking screams, and yesterday she was sitting on the dog bed while playing with the dog and she goes on to lecture me about not changing positions when something good happens like I didn't already subscribe to that theory, but I digress, and just then EJax gets that interception so she decides to come sit on the couch next to me, and in a high shrill voice I yell "What are you doing? get back down on the floor" So she remained on the floor for the remaining 3:04 minutes, and the Bears won thank you!
Oh of course, but in my humble opinion he was def former military and i believe he did serve in Vietnam. It seems to have shaped him in too many ways for it to be made up. JMO. Maybe he was regular army, maybe he was a marine, maybe he was neither, who knows. Anyway i suppose the point is he called bww out, bww met his raise and Al never did turn up. That looks like a pretty clear win to me. Anyway, how about them Browns? Look to be putting together a very respectable season from over here.
I am a Viet Nam era vet who has read a lot of what Al put out there. IMHO, most of his "experience" came from the 5th row at the cinema. Thanks for the Browns comment. However this season turns out for us, it pales in comparison to what Da Bears did this year.
Oh, she is. No doubt about it. Here's just hoping that I am, too. Well, she's going out with me, Tuna, so... As for the rest of it - that's how you know you've got someone quality in your life, man. Don't let that one go anywhere, either. It's encouraging to hear - we have a similar dynamic. I told her that I hate it when anyone talks between the huddle break and the ball snap. Not wanting to bore her by being silent half the game, I tried to soften that rule by not abruptly stopping the conversation as the huddle broke. Every time, she hit me and said, "SHHHH!!!". So the fact that we're just mirroring what you've got going on, Tuna... good news. All the best to y'all, buddy.
