Hey my QB is something like 0-5 or 0-6 on throws of 20+ yards.....I think I’ll call another one.

 

I agree but the play was there had it been a good throw.

 

At least the D didn't give up points right at the end of the half, as is their habit.

 

Can pretty much say that about 70% of Trubisky’s deep throws.

 

I'm fine with that play call. The alternative (unless we run there which I would have done on third and short in a 2 min situation with the D not expecting it) is Mitch throws 5-7 yards over the middle into heavy traffic for A-Rob and it's 70% chance an incompletion or INT.
