You're never getting this call in Lambeau. Even tho he clearly makes contact before the ball arrives.
Well.. at least they made it entertaining. Yet again, GB wins with an assist from the officials - and Matt Nagy.
Zebras were garbage today.......but that doesn't excuse a ton of shitty game planning and playcalling. Mitch made too many mistakes, and he had some beautiful throws, amid horrifying throws--some of which just worked because the packers secondary broke down terribly. The oline was trash mostly, Leno and Coward being particularly terrible. This team is just painful to watch trying to run the football, and even more painful that Mitch threw 53 fucking times. Anthony Miller is finally yielding returns for the big price that Pace traded up to get him. Tight ends didn't exist. Allen Robinson is one of the most underrated players in football, and deserves a career better than Blake Bortles and Mitch Trubisky. I thought he could have dove for the shitty Horsted lateral, but that was on Horsted. Can't lateral when you tuck it and are running it. Why in fuck was Buster Skrine on Davonte Adams in the slot or just......period? That matchup was ugly every time. I cant be the only one who thinks our best CB should shadow their best WR in important/obvious throwing downs, no? After the Rams choked it and the Queens tagged the bolts, and the bears' season is done; so shut down Akeim Hicks. He was a fucking warrior today, sorely missed--but there's nothing worth playing him for. If Ryan Pace is doing his job, RRH and Nick Williams, depth chart 5 techs who's contracts are up and before cuts for next season, are 2 young guys he has to watch because he loses a lot of talent elsewhere and probably cant keep both. Nick Kwiatkowski, your table is ready. He'd be a rich man had he pulled in that INT. Cordarrelle Patterson is a fucking brilliant player. I like Kevin Tolliver more and more. If he finishes strong, Prince becomes an expendable cut to free up cap for an edge rusher, because the bears' edges have been missing. Mack isn't going anywhere, but I've seen enough of Leonard Floyd, Aaron Lynch, and Isaiah Irving to prefer three new guys going into training camp next year. Floyd. who's 13.2 million 5th year option being something Pace needs nauseates me. It's not the scheme, these guys suck and can't win 1 on 1's when Mack is taking 2-3 guys most plays.
I don't know if this is meant to be sarcasm, but I love the effort the kid exhibits. He plays to the whistle and he relishes popping pads. Did I mention his ability to read a compass and get North?
He’s a great all-around football player. Speaking of North/south, anyone see that Cohen ran out of bounds way less than his usual 100% rate?
