    Ah yes, the memories........

I remember being my Dad's "remote control" (before there was such a thing) and having to get up to adjust the antenna and switching stations for him.

I remember when my Dad purchased one of those newfound techy thingies that actually added a motor to the antenna so you didn't have to climb up to change the direction. I still had to go outside so I could signal to him when it was pointed in either the Toledo or Cleveland direction for a "whole new set of channels to enjoy". That brought our lineup to around 16 channels if I remember correctly...lol I don't know exactly how many we had, but I do remember Channel 43 had the prize movie on in the afternoon, with John Lanigan.

I was spoiled as hell growing up here in the 80's. Never ever missed a game. The AFC games were always on NBC in those days, and right here in this small area (Newark, Oh) we had two NBC stations through basic cable. Still do in fact.... We got WCMH out of Columbus, and WHIZ out of Zanesville. The GM of the Z-ville station would always wait for WCMH to declare which Ohio team they were gonna televise (almost always Browns), and just go with the other...It was perfect! But all good things eventually come to an end. Somewhere along the line, CBS became the AFC affiliate, and our little loophole was gone forever...It sucks. I didn't realize how awesome we had it, until it was gone.

I can still remember the WHIZ (NBC) station manager's name... It was Mike....Between ages 12 and 20 (or so), I used to call that guy all the time. In 1988 the Bengals were really good (think Icky shuffle.)....The Browns were good too, but that was the year Kosar suffered his first significant injury, and nobody was too enthused about watching Mike Pagel's Browns. lol...Columbus NBC starting choosing Bengals....Just to "make sure" I was getting the Browns game, I would pester the shit out of that poor guy. He knew me too. He would say, "I'm not sure Aaron. I'm getting a lot of pressure to show Cincinnati."...And I would come back with something like, "I know tons of Browns fans in Zanesville. Have you ever actually seen any Bengals fans in your area???"" lol....In the end, I don't ever remember him letting down the Browns fans.

Don't worry, we'll get to see the 5th quarter anyway.

Im just pumped that living in Houston through 5 games, I have seen 2 full plus the last 5 plus OT of another. I could go an hour away to my Browns Backer's bar..but that's a bit far just to watch it on TV.

Pretty much got the same spiel as last week.

The O-line HAS got to start playing(BLOCKING) better.

The chargers (on paper) are not much different than the Ratturds. I do think that the Chargers offense is going to be much tougher to handle, better weapons across the board. Baker would do the Defense a favor by putting together multiple long scoring drives that eat up the clock.

Defensively get better at stopping the big chunk plays and stupid penalties.

The win streak starts at home...

    Go Browns

It's time to see if our Browns can make some of their own luck. Being at home makes for a unique opportunity to stack wins for the first time this year.
Biggest concern: who are we throwing to? Willies? Ratley? I hear you Lym "Duke", and I'm all for it. It's going to be on Baker to make it work. Hyde and Chubb could be a big help too.
I heard some talking head suggest that Duke could do some punt return duty. Also sounds like a good idea, if he can handle punts. I'm out on Jabril in that spot, thought his defensive play was considerably better last week.

Hoping for a big dose of MOO (Myles / Ogbah / Ogunjobi ). We gotta put pressure on Rivers. That is a real man back there. Tough competitor, and smart. If we can get in his head with "the MOO", we will get some TO opptys. He will fight to the end, and talk smack while doing it. Our gunslinger better be ready to fire back, and I'm pretty sure that won't be the problem.

    Go Browns

Not gonna have Willies for a little while now. Seems like Higgins could be back soon though. Duke definitely has to get involved more

Reports are out there that we have (or will) signed Breshard Perriman formerly of the Ravens.
