The BIG question for the off-season was: “Will Linus Weissbach sign his ELC with Buffalo after completing his fourth season of NCAA eligibility?” Worry no more! Linus will be in the Sabres on a 2-year* ELC, starting next season. (* Max ELC term at his age.) If he’d played one game in BUF this season then he’d have burned a year. Smart Sabres; and Linus is smart enough to know that he’ll benefit from a more gradual development to Sabres glory.
