Not by me, I agree the narrator sounds like an asshole, but I actually got something from that video. I don't agree with everything he says, but a lot of his opinions have some truth to it. It's an extremely negative take, I don't agree with all opinions expressed.
That wasn't even a take on mediocrity. It was a take on suckitude. Mediocrity implies a milque toast fan base to go along with average (read "boring") teams. Several of the clips were from playoff or championship games. Hardly mediocre. If it weren't for the passionateness of Buffalo fans, it would hardly be noticed that these teams still exist. Lately they haven't been mediocre; they have sucked hind tittie. Otherwise, it seems a colossal waste of time to document the fact that Buffalo sports bang the pooch. I like a documentary that tells me something I don't already know. Instead, this clip was tedious.
I wasn't even paying much attention to the sabres part. The bills part with the ryan brothers and the puppet gm got my attention.
Trolling, but in a fun way, it's just a video, I don't agree with all the opinions. I've always said that pegula is a little too hands on. I see some good talent in the pipeline with mittelstadt, nylander and the upcoming pick.
Trolling is a pejorative, and it's always a pejorative. You may have done this in "fun", but it is annoying to have gratuitous negativity spewed about a team. How enjoyable is it for anyone to read negative things about their team when the source makes no attempt to put things in context nor makes an effort to create a constructive point? Regardless of how negative-worthy a team may be, it's a waste. If one adds a reason for posting such information then there's a point. Otherwise, it's just random trolling. And, trolling is always a pejorative.
skinny, you fail to grasp the distinction between "trolling" and "expressing opinions". One is sacrosanct in the USA. The one who perpetuates the other one is an asshole.
I don't troll the sabres thread usually, I posted a video of an asshole, and you didn't get offended. Remember your pre-season prediction about the leafs not making the playoffs.
Remember things correctly. First of all. Second, keep things in context. First, what I said is that the Leafs had been remarkably free of major injuries the previous season. It would not surprise me, therefore, if the team were to take a step back. That is not even a prediction, it is an observation. (Yes, there's a distinction.) Also, expressing an opinion is not synonymous with trolling. One is made with an intent to constructively contribute to the dialogue. Trolling is done with an apparent distain for objective truth and is devoid of merit.
If you read enough into my posts regarding the leafs, one could even concluse I'm trolling the leafs.
