i hate that 80's bad guy smirk. i thought making it to the show would wipe that off his face. gives him a bad look, he's a nice kid from what i understand.
I'd rather have Eich (duh), but if Buffalo had slipped to 3 in the draft then I would have wanted Hanifin. I think the Canes got a goodun. I notice we're on page 51. Soupy's number. It's a sign, he's coming home in July. The NHL.com has a nice piece by Travis Roy, (he was paralyzed 11 seconds into his BU debut). He mostly talks about Eich but has things to say about McJesus too. Jury duty got postponed a few hours today due to a snowstorm here. The snow will be mostly gone by tomorrow but I get the day off.
Two times in one year, sounds like you were the victim of double jeopardy. That just shouldn't happen! I showed up on time - I even saw another guy with a Sabres hat! - waited to hear my name called for one of three trials. Nuttin. I got dismissed and I'm free from this for the next year.
Bogosian will skate tonight against the Stars. It's his first game since April and will be the 2D pair with McCabe. Looking forward to Josh Gorges getting some rest; he just seems to be an injury waiting to happen. Kane expects to join the lineup this week - he's ahead of schedule with his knee injury. It'll be good to see him back, but it comes just at the point when we're seeing the line juggling settle down. Gus is hurt, not too bad, but he needs to get in rhythm. I'd hate to see him the odd man out when TM swings his next deal. The days of dealing the obvious are over, and someone we like is going to be dealt; there is literally too much O talent on this team. There are organizational deficiencies on D. Lehner may be back as early as late November. I kinda like what I've seen from Chad Johnson & Linus Ullmark. It certainly makes G a less desperate position. The rookie will go to Rochester and Chad can resume his backup role. Lindy Ruff is back in town, but there are only three players on the roster from his time here, (T. Ennis, M. Foligno, and M. Weber). The Stars are hot, (and Buffalo is more than tepid), so that'll be the drama and not Lindy's return.

This table was copied from the article, but it's a bastard to get lined up; hope it's not too hard to read.) The article goes on to talk about the Organizational strength of the Sabres; not that anyone reading this does not already know the future is very bright in Buffalo.
The GF/GA improvement from '14-'15 for the Sabres, (last year - 28 GF, 67 GA, -39 Diff.; this year 40, 49, -9), may at first look make it seem that the Sabres D is what has dramatically improved from a year ago. There are some new players, but they for the main part are very young and the unit is thin. Their statistical improvement can, IMO, be attributed to significantly higher possession stats. Franson on D helps, but mainly that's due to the dramatically improved offense. That improvement was predictable, and I believe that it's the relatively easy part. Getting all the new parts on offense to get in synch with each other will require more time. I think we can expect a few outbursts of high scoring games for Buffalo as the season progresses. I strongly doubt that BUF makes the playoffs this season, but by season's end I doubt that anyone with a modicum of awareness will question the positive trend the team is now on.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I'm off to Alabama to spend time with a brother. It's going to be a tough week for the good guys with, I think, four games in five days. Tonight they're home against the Blues and I hope they feel fresh - and mad after picking up only two points in their last four (0-2-2). They have scored 4 G's total in those 4; somewhat predictable IMO that they'd go through some droughts. If anyone catches the Sabres at the Preds game on Saturday look for the purple #4 HFC and the camouflage #17 Military Appreciation sweaters two rows behind the Sabres' bench.
I was thinking just that when I composed the message; nothing slips by you! Just remember, you can't use it either; at least not yet. Happy Thanksgiving.
matty, i don't have center ice, but i plan to be looking for dan, senility willing. we gotta teach u how to stream. tonight, i'm watching br00nz-leafs on TSN. jack-free hockey goodness
if I'm available I'm gonna check in w/ you lulzer and watch it streaming. my 9 month + pregnant wife may have other plans for us, we shall see.
plans or no plans, it's something u should learn regardless no offense to dan, but saturday will not be the first game i wanted to watch online
you're not wrong. and how hard is it to watch streaming on my tv??more over, what would i need to purchase?
that depends on your computer. u need to determine if you have additional video out capability on it (aside from the normal plug for the monitor), and if it matches an input on your TV. if so, u just need a cable. it's probably possible to do it wirelessly as well, depending on your computer and TV.
