You didn’t see Bush play. He looks like a serious contender for defensive MVP. He covers like a DB and hits like Ray Lewis.

That's precisely why you're a Gidiot. I did watch the Steelers / Buccaneers game.

    Sorry gid...that's pretty funny.

Defensive MVP might have been a bit much, based off of pre-season game #1. I guess we'll see.

Bush was really good at covering in the pass game and filled better on the run than I ever saw Shazier do. Also a bonus for us is he doesn’t tackle head first like Shazier. From what I saw he is an upgrade over Shazier and that is saying a lot. Denver got screwed in the trade because nobody they drafted with the picks we sent will come close to helping them like Bush would have.

  6. Midnightdreary Draft Eligible Ravens

Defensive rookie of the year......Maybe. That is, at least, a reachable goal
    Defensive MVP? Not this year.

I feel in his career he may be a player considered a number of seasons possibly winning one. He really looks like the equivalent of Baker Mayfield on the Steelers defense.

Not even defensive rookie of the AFC North.

    1. Greedy Williams
    2. Mack Wilson
    3. Devin Bush

    That is all.

Do they give Defensive MVP awards to guys on 7-9 teams? Asking for a friend...

Is this why the Bears trolls have been so quiet? The very real fear of a major backslide against a tougher schedule and a (guessing... ) 6-10 finish?

Meanwhile, the Super Bowl runs through Cleveland.

SAS, i know it's not my call, but when do you retire the "Sashi" and grab a new Av? I know he played a big part in our turnaround, but that face reminds me too much of an era I would love to forget. Plus, he's in a different sport now. Time to let him go, is it not?

    Go Browns!

I consider him to be Football Jesus (sorry, Tim Tebow) and folks are still talking about that guy 2,000 years after all his miracles.

We owe so much of where we are today to Sashi - and to a lesser extent, even Hue. We're a trade for A.J. McCarron away from eking out one or two more wins in 2016, missing out on Myles Garrett and a trade-down away with Houston from missing out on Denzel Ward and Nick Chubb.

John Dorsey and Scot McCloughan pulled the trigger on a lot of those Sashi picks and built us the roster we have today, no doubt. But tough to envision either guy taking the job without the massive cap room and obscene number of draft picks.

    That said...

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't you actually have to make the playoffs first? You Browns fans are funny. Crawl before you can walk would be a wise way to do things considering your franchise has been drunkenly stumbling and falling down for a few decades.

I'll set the Bears baseline at 10 wins. And I'm willing to pay you $100 for every win short of that if you pay $50 for every win over it.

If you really wanted that flaming homer to put his money where his mouth is, you'd challenge him to do the same for Cleveland, given his Super Bowl predictions. Ah, but we know he's too worthless to own up to something like that...

For the record, I've always been a Browns supporter. I've always read these forums to get local insight on a team I cared about.

I don't ever poke at the Browns - I poke at the idiot fans who post here.

There are good Browns fans here who I've got no qualm with, and I've got no qualms with the team itself. Cheers to them.

Well, I know when to admit when I'm wrong. Mentioning "always fun" and "Bears fans" in the same sentence was just messed up. That was never happening. Not even sure what I was thinking.....

    Anyway....Moving on.

    How about some predictions?

Crystal ball time...here's how things will shake out in the NFL this year:

    Division winners
    AFCE: Patriots (11-5)
    AFCN: Browns (12-4)
    AFCS: Colts (9-6-1)
    AFCW: Chiefs (11-5)
    WC- Steelers (10-6), Chargers (10-6)

    NFCE: Eagles (11-5)
    NFCN: Vikings (10-6)
    NFCS: Saints (11-5)
    NFCW: Rams (11-5)
    WC - Bears (10-6), Seahawks (10-6)

    SB: Browns over Eagles
    SBMVP: Baker Mayfield
    NFL MVP: Baker Mayfield
NFL EXEC of the year: John Dorsey
Coach of the year: Freddie Kitchens
    DROY: Greedy Williams
    OROY: Kyler Murray

Browns fans get the long awaited title, and Cleveland rocks the biggest sports celebration of all time...
