Sorry Duff..Taylor is what he is. A mediocre to poor QB. There's a reason the Buffalo Bills tried to bench him for Peterman last year... If we would have started Mayfield today, Browns win. It's as simple as that.
How many turnovers does the defense have to come up with before you expect production from the offense? Watching Taylor play is the same as it's ALWAYS been....blah.
Very impressed with Ward today. He and the Browns held A.Brown to 9 catches for 93 yards. I think he only had 6 catches in regulation for 70 yards or so.
Just watching from TV, how many times did ya catch the obvious 1 on 1's at the top of the screen, only to see some underneath fail play??? Because Terd-rod NEVER can freaking see the blatantly obvious evidently... Good lord, I can't be the only one that feels this way....
You guys are bitching about the refs? Please. That punt off of a Browns head not being reversed was the most ridiculous call in the game. There were quite a few bad calls by the refs for both sides. The personal foul on Burns should have been offset by the face mask by the Landry.
You're a idiot if you thought they could reverse that punt call. The ball didn't change rotation AT ALL. It was fucking close, but it didn't hit him.
they showed multiple angles that showed the balls rotation didn't even slightly change. Hitting ANY object would have altered the rotation.
I have to say that this game completely raised my hopes for this season. And at the same time, completely dashed them.
You REALLY shouldn't be TD. Browns played well, however if Connor doesn't fumble that ball. Most likely a loss.
We didn't lose. Likewise, the Steelers have no reason to think they should have won when they gave away the ball that many times!
Unrelated, @dlinebass5 the Bears looked like the real deal in the first half of that game. They are on the verge of being a major contender. They made me a believer. They need to put it together for two halves of football and I would put them in the category of being able to beat anyone. I'm not saying the defense would have been pedestrian otherwise, but with Khalil Mack, they could be one of the top defenses in the league. That man changes games.
I heard a stat that makes me wanna puke, but I just have to share.... Since 1999, teams that win the turnover battle by a margin of +5 or better, are a combined 130-2-1....And yes, the Browns are responsible for both of the losses and the tie. smh...
