Gid, I am not even going to argue those two posts, as I personally find the context to be racist in nature. I wouldn't use terms in the form of a group and assume everyone reacts the same way...That's all I will say to you on that.
So, I guess it is safe to assume you are one of the Bears fans that simply argue with Browns fans...thanks for clearing that up.
You're a Browns fan that can't handle any criticism of your team. I'm sorry for that but I can't help you with it. The spin by you and SAS on this thread with this issue is kinda absurd. I'm calling it for what it is.
Yeah because my take on this topic is so off base, right? Out of all the thin-skinned, weak minded crybabies on this forum.......you might actually be the worst Irish. Which sucks because you are one of the more intelligent posters here. But the second someone says something negative about the Cleveland Browns....here come the tears. If you don't like the things I type....block me. Or don't read them. Or read them but don't respond. What you shouldn't do is read them, respond to them, then complain about them time and again. It's fucking sad....you're an adult.
You're too single minded to even realize I am talking about your take on Browns fans... Not the subject matter. The only thing I criticized on the actual subject matter was your unwillingness to even accept any possibilities other than your own thought. But.. I'm a thinskinned, weak minded cry baby? I don't even think you know what you are arguing, just trying to bait me into making a stupid personal comment. Sorry to disappoint you...it isn't going to happen.
I don’t have a take on Browns fans. I have a take on you. And others here. You don’t represent all Browns fans though. And I gave an opinion that allowed for other possibilities to be possible. I don’t find your unfounded, completely made up narrative to be plausible. Sorry. I’m not baiting you. You baited yourself by even replying to me, then complaining about replaying to me at the same time. This isn’t personal and doesn’t need to be. But bullshit should be called out. And anyone that doesn’t want their bullshit called out shouldn’t post bullshit.
I have had a lot of black friends in my life. My wife is black so you people are off. I have never seen a black person not go off when someone calls them a racial slur. Just stating facts from personal experience. If someone said something to make you go crazy like Garret did you are surely going to talk about what set you off with anyone who will listen. The only thing Garret talked about immediately after the act was Rudolph tugging on his helmet and the kick. No mention of any ugly words. You just don't have a melee like that and never tell anyone about what set you off for a week.
No. I have seen it happen too often. I went to high school in Georgia in the 70s-80s My best friends were a couple of black guys and the shit I saw people do was insane back then. They even had an advertisement for JB Stoner for president where he said are you tired of all those n words in the ad. Most of you guys are too young or lived in different parts of the country where you weren't exposed to that crap. But you guys want to make a joke out of this. What Garret is doing when he lies about racial slurs is criminal. If other players believe what he said they may try to kill Rudolph on the field. This is no joking matter.
If this has already been debunked, I apologize -- there's a lot of blocked activity on the thread with the Bears fans evidently still lurking... Myles directly after the game told the media to check the tapes, he "wasn't going to get into it". What does adding that help right there after the heat of everything? Myles knew he screwed up immediately and wasn't going to make it worse. The media can't do anything about it except report on it -- they're not getting tapes from the NFL offices to verify it. The appeals process is the only place that kind of information can change things and that's exactly where he revealed it. He brought it up *only* in closed-door meetings that he assume were to be kept private, and if fact it was the NFL -- not Garrett's camp -- who leaked that tid-bit.
Garrett’s people leaked it after they found out his suspension was going to stick. He made up some shit to get loose. He never wanted it out for anyone to hear. He just wanted to get less time. It’s a bullshit story and fuck him and everyone twisting the obvious to defend him. This shit is fucking disgusting and I refuse to defend this team for it. I’m done.
It was the NFL/ESPN that leaked the information, FWIW... https://nypost.com/2019/11/21/myles-garrett-didnt-want-mason-rudolph-slur-allegation-to-be-public/
