I understand the Browns had some injuries, but you weren’t starting a rookie undrafted free agent called Duck at QB. The rest may have been relatively equal, but the Steelers win that argument on that alone!!
The Browns have lost to a second string (Marcus Mariota), third string (Brandon Allen), and fourth string (Devlin Hodges) quarterback this season. Steve Wilks has earned every bit of his termination at seasons' end.
I will give no ground on that argument. His nickname had zero to do with the outcome of the game. You weren't being coached by Goober. Top that !
Hey, Gid . . . You've been telling us for two years that Mason Rudolph was the next Joe Montana. How did he lose his job to an undrafted rookie who wasn't even invited to the combine ?
The Steelers had a concessions vender as a special teams gunner but the Browns had a 3rd string center in an iron lung so it all evens out.
Actually, J.C. Tretter (best center in the NFL) played the whole game on a bad leg. Dude's tough as nails. Yes, I realize you were joking. No, I didn't miss the point. Absolutely, I'm pissed that the Browns (a *supremely* more talented roster) lost to the Steelers. Credit to Mike Tomlin and the coaching staff you all have... they ran circles around Freddie & Co.
I agree that the Browns have put together a very talented roster. It sounds like you aren't to happy with Freddie and the staff. What do you feel they lack?
"Talented" ROSTERS overcome injuries so that they don't have to lament injuries. The other ROSTER players step up. It takes more than starters to win football games (unless you're Baltimore and damn near your entire roster is healthy).
You are just asking for it with that one. I'll just put this out there. Is OBJ's talent worth what he may lack in chemistry? Does Kareem Hunt bring more to the field then his off the field issue detracts from it? Serious question because the Steelers had and might still have some of those issues. Is it a plus that Brown is gone despite his production? Bell too?
It's apparently open season for Yinzers to pile on. In some aspects . . . We have it coming after buying into the hype that surrounded our team at the beginning of the year. Silly us. But, you will rue the day (not if - but) when you're mighty Steelers fall into an abyss half as deep as we have been in. I, for one, will do everything in my power to ensure I'm still alive so I can piss all over your sorry ass carcasses. In the meantime - have fun.
I'm not poking fun at the Browns but no one is on the Steeler's board and I rarely have the chance to post this frequently. I hope you live long and prosper too.
