youtz all gelus. Big and Bad (possibly at hockey). Rinaldo for Calder! Miller for Norris! Beleksey for the Byng! btw, Im trying to spread Beleksey among my local fans. Please let me know if you happen to see it spelled and/or pronounced Beleksey.
?Collectively I think our forward group from our top line to our bottom line is a better group [than last season],? said B?s President Cam Neely. ?I think you can expect more balanced scoring than we?ve seen in the past. As everybody talks about on our back end, we?re a little young. But we have some cap space, and we?re willing to use it if we feel like it will improve the team.? agreed Seabass. although "young" may not be the word that Id use describing the D.
http://www.bostonherald.com/sports/...acobs_takes_blame_for_letting_bruins_languish http://www.bostonherald.com/sports/...ton+Bruins+-+Bruins+&+NHL+-+BostonHerald.com) He's a scrimmage beast. Fire up a round of Koolaid.
not only is he good in practice against other young kids but you also never want to pass up an opportunity to draft a kid that has 2 Y's in his last name.
This is from Haggerty. I don't know about Bruins fans, to me, it looks worse when it's all written together.
no one can! that picture actually reminds me of how much I miss Naoko Funayama on the left there. she was/is an excellent reporter. sadly she's been replaced by hot blondes that don't know the difference between the red line and blue lines.
Chicago's quality of coverage is actually improving...doesn't say much. The Kane thing has given them an excuse to be critical of the org for a change. Not that there's anything to hammer the franchise for yet, but at least they'll be less reluctant to do so.
NHL.coms take on the Broonz top prospects. doesn't really hold much water w/ me personally because most of these lennies just copy off of one another, the worse they are the longer they keep stale info around. anyway?? 1) Danton Heinon -F someone on this thread wrote about him months ago. this kid was playing Jr B in Canada and was slated to red shirt last year, his 1st, at U of Denver. Instead he earned his way in to the lineup and put up huge numbers and only finished w/ less points (as a frosh) than Eichel and Larkin. I saw him play live in 2 games, he didn't score I don't think, but you could see a great skill set plain as day. Still real lanky though. Happy to see someone have the balls to rank him as the #1 prospect. 2) Malcolm Subban - G we all know him??.Jordan's brother. 3)Jake Zboril - D was hoping the Broonz would scoop him w/ the 14th pick this year. essentially got my wish. i don't want to talk about that day though. 4)Jake Debrusk -F went 14th in that draft. still don't want to talk about it. 5) Joe Morrow -D thought he looked good last year in his call ups. seems like a prick though.
It would be amusing if a few of the mid-late rounders for PC, like Heinen turned out to be very good picks.
Heinon, Mcintyre, and Trotman are the only real late round possibilities. then the early on, but post draft, acquisition kids- McQuaid, Boychuk, Bartkowski, Kampfer, and then Tuukka. all D and a G. Heinon still the only F on any list.
