https://ca.sports.yahoo.com/blogs/n...s-he-is--boston-strong---video-212203703.html I read this story this morning on yahoo, a three year fight with cancer and down syndrome and this 8 year old pulled through.
thanks for posting the article skinny, i didn't know the back story. its pretty obvious that this little fella has Downs but the cancer on top of it???..quite a story. not all Broonz are evil. kinda surprised BigFat didn't stick him in the face or something.
Something Ive been surprised w/ is how few turnovers Joe Morrow has had. He's been fairly solid so far and he loves shooting. Getting shots through is a needed skill for the Broonz Neanderthals on the blue line. Not anointing Morrow anything other than not noticeably bad on D and a pretty good overall skill set. Morrow in and Bartkowski out they're 5-0-0. Playing w/ McQuaid seems easy, reliable/ predictable anyway. Good pairing there. I probably just mushed the kid and he's gonna be -4 tonight.
AHL rookie leading scorer and youngest player in the league, i think. [del]Finally a[/del] Another Chia Gem!!!
All three Bruins/Habs games this year have been on the 2nd night of back to backers for the Bruins against a rested Habs team. Has nothing to do w/ the debacles so far, I'm just setting up an excuse for tonight.
I love the pic of McQuaid. At this point it's time to question Chiarelli if he builds a roster that relies on his skillset. As a number of teams are getting quicker in the EC, while giving up a little bit of size/physical play on avg, I'm not so sure I like the sound of that for Boston. That reads like they're building for the coach a little too much, they still have plenty of continuity and "broonz-style" players. Gloves fit worse than the one OJ tried on in the cap era.
agreed, just hoping that its Haggerty being the buffoon that he is. fan-pandering?..hopefully. Hacks w/ Haggs, lol, the "Hacks" referring to his writing. PC's moves speak otherwise over the past couple of seasons. Got some D that skate a little, infused the Fs w/ speed and skill- Smith, Eriksson, Griffith, Khochlachev(?). Got rid of Boychuk and Thornton. They can add heaviness w/ the 6'9 255 lber due back soon!
Krejci on IR, won't make west coast trip. bad news but expected. this forces CJ to switch up the lines a bit. he's had BF playing w/ Soderberg and Eriksson. Had Marchand- Bergy- Patrnak last game, they looked good. bottom line though is that this lineup needs Krejci in a bad way.
