I have no idea what it means or the origin of the pic. Things float (like OV) in the internet thing. No kidding. Do you treat him like Berglund, Brunner, or his own case? He has a bunch of points and a 2 way game but he's not very accomplished yet even though he's in his prime years. He's obviously not like either player, and he's much better in more areas than Brunner except for goal scoring (which is the most important). I'm thinking 2.8 -3.2 x 2 or 3 years, but I have little confidence in how to price him given his experience and game. How often did Cload have him switching in and out of center?
Cload started him on the wing and the moved him in and out of the middle in the middle of the season for maybe a month. he spent the last quarter or so of the season in the middle. he's one of those guys that is much better at center. thats his role i think. I would like to see him w/ a speed or skill guy on one side (Eriksson and he were ok together or a Reily Smith maybe) and the a BigFat on the other wing. Soderberg slows it down in the O-zone much like Krejci, i think that would work well w/ the BigFat.
you could. you pretty much have the ability to just move your wings around your 3 Cs. i like the idea of not changing the lines just because of a drought but Cload's unwillingness to move guys around can be detrimental like it was this post season. i agree w/ him not moving guys around just for the post season...he should've done it during the regular season so players would've been somewhat used to each other.
http://www.bostonglobe.com/sports/2...814V1OjSw4scH2OMI/story.html?s_campaign=sm_tw Is this where the Yandle and Edler thing came from? Edler is a bad idea for CLoad imo. Yandle is going to cost much more than a deal around Boychuk and/or Marchand imo.
gracias, i hadn't read that. Yandle has been floated around for a couple years now and supposedly there was a deal in place w/ Vancouver at the deadline for Edler that fell through...........so Sully will lead you to believe anyway based on veiled comments from Seabass. why don't you like Edler for Cload? not tight enough and likes to wheel and deal? Trotman and Warsofsky? I don't agree w/ Fluto there.
Bruins are in a position to change the team dynamic and hopefully they do. With the devaluing of goonery and the redundancy of it on this roster w/ the likes of Chara, Lucic, Iginla?, Campbell, Miller, and McQuaid theres just no room for a Shawn Thornton. This could be a good opportunity for a Ryan Spooner, Matt Fraser, Jared Knight, Justin Florek (pretty likely) or a possible FA 4th liner. I would think that anyone brought in will need to bring something else to the table, preferably speed and PK. Thought the Habs 4th line was better than the Bruins' one and it held true in game 7 w/ Weiss getting it done once again against his counterparts. ?The fisticuff trend ? this doesn?t characterize Thorty as just a fighter, because he?s contributed on that line and that line has had a lot of success in the past ? we?re definitely trending away from that style,? Bruins GM Peter Chiarelli said.
Im going to lose these numbers when dealing w/ some donkey in the future so I figured Id throw them up here to reference. Sucks that I have to defend my city when I absolutely shouldn't. Hate the mongloid sports fans all you want but don't hate the city. Within 24 hours of Subban's goal, there were 2,617 tweets containing Subban's name and a variation of the n-word.[/*] Of those 2,617, 77% were manual retweets commenting on all the tweets, or the day-after written reactions and roundups.[/*] Further suggesting that most of the tweets were second-wave observers, the rate of tweets containing Subban and a racial slur was 8.5 times higher in Canada than it was in the U.S.[/*] Of the 2,617 tweets, 11 percent were categorized as "derogative" toward Subban. That amounts to 288 people actually calling Subban the n-word in anger or hate.[/*] http://deadspin.com/boston-hockey-twitter-not-as-racist-as-made-out-to-be-1580699526
those number tell a very different story than what the media or other sports fans would love for you to believe. that's great info Matty... but i still hate Boston (hockey and football teams). here's a funny story: mostly before and during my dealings with other collector's art, i used to make art myself. the last piece i made was a stencil work of Ortiz pointing at the sky after one of his home runs. i made it during the All-Star game in July 2007 (the last All-Star game of any sport i've ever seen). that work sold for $800 to a Red Sox fan here in NYC. i'm not even a big baseball fan, but Yankees fans hated Ortiz and anything that gets under their skin makes me smile. i consider that sale as going out on top with a decent win. too bad it wasn't $800K, but a win is a win.
body of a little girl and he's still better than every other goalie. i'll bet he got help [del]lifting[/del] getting it up.
