I saw this message on a Sabres site, and thought I'd pass it along: http://hfboards.hockeysfuture.com/showthread.php?t=1608913
lol, i am not over him but that definitely does help. we already knew that about him but the affirmation is still welcome. where does a kid get these done?, Glamour Shots at the mall or something? those gloves suck and why do little kids need to have a team captain?
I was happy with last night's game; the Sabres showed some spunk coming back to beat that team. I was particularly happy to see Enroth get his first W since October. He has not been bad - the Sabres had been giving him no goal support. If John Scott were not in the NHL this game would not have even reached O/T. Matty, do you hate it that the bast@rd from Buffalo pictured above is giving you the finger? I would tell him that when you are in last place in the world, you should not appear to be gloating.
lol, true. he was brutal out there, especially on Marchands goal. he may actually be my least favorite person involved in all sports. obviously a bright and savvy businessman that had the foresight to buy the Bruins at a reasonable price in 1975 he squandered so many opportunities here in the 80s/90s while saving a buck. He knew full well that the attendance would be there and the team would be solid w/ Bourque and Neely. the way that he treats his 'equals' on the BOG is appalling, so I'll just sum it up Dan and give you my answer- YES.
Normally, when someone is from Buffalo, I tend to like them first. I always want a WNY boy to skate for the good guys. But, when someone proves that they are worthy of contempt - even if when they're home boys, they go on my s#1t list. He's on it for life.
He just saw that Boston was lagging Chicago in some of the sports business journals...he doesn't like that.
He and WWW are on my MT Rushmore of owners I hate/hated. Maybe they're okay humans, but I only know them as owners, and I hate em'.
Douglas Hamilton w/ a very strong game last night, even aside from his point production (1-2-3) he was strong on the D end of it too. The Olympic break will help him more than just about everyone in the league. He had the longest season in NHL history I believe last year as an 18 year old. Nice little break should help him. he's excited about the win last night.
Adam McQuaid mystery injury seems to be more serious than we had originally been lead to believe. For over a month its been the company line, 'ya getting closer everyday. trying to do my part, can't wait to get out there w/ my teammates bobloblaw.' Stephane Robidas perhaps? Yes, I eat what Lennie serves up. I think it will be a smaller acquisition for the Bruins on the blue line. Philips makes sense w/ the Chiarelli/Ottawa connection and the seemingly small asking price for him. Hainsey's name has been thrown out there. Edler/Ehrhoff would be nice but I dont think Chiarelli is willing to part w/ the necessary pieces and i hope that he doesn't. I don't like the idea of trading away the 1st rnd pick for the 3rd time in 4 years but Id rather that than any of Spooner-Fraser-Svedberg-Subban. Anyone want Jordan Caron???? supposed to be an awfully nice fella.
Meszaros will join a legendary crew donning the 41 spoked B jersey. Allen Pedersen (1987-1991) Dave Thomlinson (1992) Tim Sweeney (1993) Guy Larose (1995) Phil Von Stefenelli (1996) Jason Allison (1997-2001) Zdenek Kutlak (2004) Andrew Alberts (2006-2008) Allen Pederson is the definition of slow-footed defenseman. Kutlak and Alberts not far behind. Great omen for the Broonz.
when i was 12 yrs old, i shook Andre the Giant's index finger. that was a one BIG mofo. he was cool and would interact with the fans and that, along with his obvious presence, was very impressive. later during that event, i was escorted out of the arena by the police for throwing a wadded up paper cup at Don Muraco. i hit him in the face and he pointed me out. f**k Don Muraco!
